Interesting stay

You get what you paid for. Room was clean and nice, really no complaints there for the price. The walkway that leads into the room has the aggressive lights. With that, the even with the curtains closed, light beamed into the room and made it hard to get fully comfortable to rest. In 2 instances within the same morning, housecleaning knocked before check out @ 11:00 am. There was no sign to sign to let them know it was occupied and in one instance, they came in the room while were in bed.

Crummy & loud w/ amenities out of order

Was in Mount Vernon for a 100-mile bike ride and booked this place for its hot tub, which was out of order. My room was next to the pool and was very loud, there was NO smoke alarm in the room (a fire code violation), and when we checked out one day early to find a better option, we were told they would not refund the third day. When we called on Monday to inquire about a refund, the front desk employee hung up on us twice. Still waiting to see if we will be refunded for the last day.

We arrived in town at 12am, desperately needing to get some shut eye and had pre-booked this hotel because it had good reviews. When we got to our first assigned room and the AC was broken and the curtains were broken. When we went down to the office to request a different room, the woman at the front scoffed at us and told us "that can't be true" and we almost had to argue to get a different room... THEN when we got into our second room, there was literal feces in the bathroom toilet! Again we immediately went down to the office to complain and AGAIN we were meet with the same response. When we asked for a refund so we could go somewhere else, we were told "no because you already reserved this room for tonight" and then "you'll have to call or customer service for a refund if you want one." Then we proceed to walk out and find somewhere else to stay. When we FINALLY got ahold of customer service, we were told that they would only refund one of the two nights we reserved and that if we wanted a full refund, we would have to request an authorized refund from the owner of the establishment. This establishment was filthy, the parking lot was way too small for three number of rings they have on site, and the staff were absolutely awful in every sense.

Friendly staff/not very clean.

The hotel was easy to check in. The staff were quick and polite. But the room itself wasn’t very clean. There was a used q-tip on the floor, as well as a paper clip, bottle cap, and a nail laying on the floor.

Nice place in great neighborhood.

Room not serviced after the first night. There was a note on the desk about how to act, we didnot notice…. Sink did not flush, they immediately repaired it. Great service. Bed was ok, room was ok, so was the breakfast.

The room was dirty. There were crumbs in the dresser drawers. We were missing shampoo and conditioner. My 6-year-old found an empty bottle and a toy that was left behind. The staff were kind, but the room was not good.

The room smelled like it had been a smoking room at one point and they have tried to cover it up with air fresheners. The refrigerator was nice to have, the microwave was also nice although it was not plugged in and had to be moved to the table because the cord was too short to reach the plug in, which meant the tv cabinet had to be moved also to access the plug ins. The plug ins next to the bed were wore out and a phone charger cord wouldn’t stay plugged it. The hotel was over all ok, the bed was nice but the hotel building itself definitely needs some updates on simple maintenance stuff
