Firstly, the good. Hotel is in a great location, everything you could need is within a short walk. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was kept clean every day, including Sunday. The room itself was a bit tired but still good value for the money paid. Only 1 plug socket in the room was working but we worked around this. The view from the balcony was incredible. We did not use the breakfast facilities so cannot comment on this. My only real disappointment was that when i booked this trip, it was for me and my son so i booked 2 rooms. Despite it saying on expedia that the rooms can be amended / refunded up to 72hrs before your stay, when i contacted expedia 1 week before informing them that due to an operation my son could not travel and my partner would be travelling instead, i was told that the rooms were single occupancy and could not be changed. When we arrived, we had been allocated 2 large rooms and ended up paying for a room that we did not use and that the hotel then sold to someone else. Not a gripe about the hotel as such, just the difficulty in communication with expedia and a bit disappointed as i book a fair few trips with them. The room had a queen and a single bed and was definitely not single occupancy.
