Does the trick location-wise, horrible service
Horrendous service checking in, during breakfast, and throughout stay. Multiple employees clearly did not want to be there, breakfast food ran out almost completely 2 days in a row, more than an hour before breakfast should be finished. Person who checked us in was blatantly rude.

Our trip was for pleasure and the hotel was booked up with a school the kids were very loud and non of them had any regard for any of the other guests. We had the teenagers wrestling in front of our door . Kids were running up and down the halls and when i called the front desk at 952 pm about it was told there was nothing they could do til 10 pm. The kids kept at it til 230 am . At this point i didnt even bother to call the front desk cause it was on the 1st floor by the elevator so i knew they could hear them. And i can keep going , but i think you get the drift on the rest.

The beds were rock hard and the pillows flat. Shower had not been well cleaned and it was probably the loudest hotel I’ve stayed in. The staff at the front desk were fine, nothing spectacular and not overly friendly.

The person checking us in was extremely rude and acted as if he didn’t want to talk to anyone or help us. Basically just checked us in and threw the keys on the counter and sent us away. Very unprofessional and I am very unhappy with this service.

This property has seen better days and could use some serious updating. The staff was pretty blasé and my room was adequate, but nothing special. The breakfast buffet was mediocre and the jacuzzi was not clean/inviting enough to use. It's all about location because this is the closest affordable hotel to the (very expensive) Timberline Lodge and main Mt. Hood hiking trails. And the Mt Hood Brewery is right next door which is ideal after a long day of hiking.

This is a place that is “feel good” to arrive at. Nice welcome, (limited) covered free parking during a snowstorm, great lobby and social area with a Lodge feel, great value rooms, even if the bathroom was a bit cramped and a decent breakfast.
