Front desk attendant did not even acknowledge me for at least 5 min as I stood waiting. She stared at her competitor screen with not even a “good afternoon, I’ll be with your shortly”. She was not personable at all, even after learning that I am a Gold Wyndham member. I booked “two double beds” through Wyndham Rewards with breakfast but was given two twin beds and no breakfast included. One of the two water bottles in the room was open and half empty. In the morning, the front desk staff just stared at their computers with no “good morning”.

Very comfortable and quiet stay here. I was a but worried of my check-in initially because Expedia noted that check-in closes at 11.30pm and due to my flight delay I would need out of hours services. Fortunately, there was staff (and loads of people) on site so I was able to check in easily and have a comfortable night stay before starting my adventure at Munich.

The hotel itself was cozy and comfortable, though nothing too remarkable. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive, but housekeeping left something to be desired. While the room was clean and tidy, getting any extras (like an extra pillow or a fan) took far too long—about two days for a pillow and nearly 13 hours for a fan. Although the hotel description mentions air conditioning, the rooms don’t actually have it. Thankfully, the windows open fully, and with a standing fan in front, we were able to pull in some fresh air to cool down. The surrounding area is mostly quiet and convenient, with a bus stop (I believe bus #194) right outside and the train within walking distance. We were in town of Ocktoberfest. Distance wise from hotel to grounds took about 35 mins of travel time. Do note, though, you’ll pass several brothels on the way to the station, which might not be for everyone. Overall, this hotel is affordable and clean, making it a decent option if you just need a budget-friendly place to sleep. It served its purpose, but don’t expect more than the basics.

A nightmare on Stahlgruberring

The hotel did not have AC and it was 30 degrees during summer. The shower inside the hotel room didn't even qualify for a shower. The pressure was so bad and the temperature fluctuated for the water. For the price of 200 euros per night, they literally robbed me

Basic in the extreme. No real comfort, the curtains didn't cover the whole window. No air-conditioning so there was a lot of traffic noise. Seriously in the middle of nowhere, no local facilities, no bar and ludicrously expensive when there is an event on. More like a hostel than hote.l

The hotel is located in the quiet part of town. The staff was very helpful and checkin was easy. The reception is open 24/7. It is close to the bus stop and metro station to make connections. Very affordable. Thank you for the excellent service!
