The location could not be any better! I was walking to most of places that I planned to visit. And to the rest I commuted where all stops and types of transportation were there as well. This hotel does not offer the breakfast. But! There is espresso machine in a room, and every morning there is enough pastries for guests which could be just enough for a light breakfast! They can keep your luggage if you arrived early, but you will need a 2 euro coin for a locker, keep that in mind. The room was tiny. I was there by myself, though, and I had everything that I needed. I probably should give a 5-star overall. If I travel to Munich again, I will stay at the same hotel, no questions about it!

The hotel room is really small, walk-in closet size, but comfortable bed and good water pressure. Hotel was confusing because it’s in the middle of a business building.

Perfectly Located Hotel in Munich with A/C
This is an efficiency hotel located in the heart of Munich right at the Karlsplatz train station. It’s very easy to get to/from the airport on the train with the S1 or S8 at this stop, as well as around the city since it is a hub where the trains connect. The hotel has large lockers (can get two checked bags in one) for 2€ you can store your luggage in if you arrive early, or need to check out and want to explore the city before departure, but do not expect to check-in early. I recommend you send the hotel a message to let them know when you plan to check in so you know your room is ready. We got there right at 3pm, and our room wasn’t ready until 5pm, which was very unpleasant after a long day of travel. The rooms have A/C, which is a blessing in the hot summer weather, a small individual pod coffee maker, and WiFi. There is a small pastry cart in the lobby in the mornings with complimentary croissants, pretzels and things you can take on the go, as well as vending machines with drinks and snacks for purchase. If you have a car, they offer an underground garage for 18€ (at time of review), but you cannot have a large car. I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to get around Munich easily and have a nice place to sleep. It’s no frills, and is located in an office building, but 10min walk to Marienplatz Square where all the shops, restaurants, and touristy things are. There is also a coffee shop right across the street, a few restaurants, and a few markets.

The hotel has a great location, near Karlsplatz and trains. We arrived after the 11pm check in and the area didn’t feel safe to walk alone to the other hotel where you have to do the check in. Otherwise, we had a nice stay. The place seems to be fairly new, it’s small, but spacious.

The room provided everything we needed. It was small but clean and comfortable. The drinks machine is a nice touch. An nice selection of croissants / pretzels and some fruit are available at reception in the morning for no extra charge.

What's not to like about this hotel? Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but have everything you need and they are clean and modern. Perfect for a short stop of 2-3 nights. Free food as well!!!

Noise level in Room toward the inside court unacceptable every night between 1 -2 am sort of a loud cleaning crew and again @ 3.30 to 5 am ,impossible to sleep , male at desk couldn't be bothered other 2 females admitted that there were a lot of complaints but nothing they could do about it ..NEVER AGAIN besides outstanding location

Buddy Hotel is a friend indeed
This was one of the best hotels ive ever had the pleasure to stay at. The staff is friendly and speak a variety of languages. The hotel is just a short walk from the train station and a 15 minute S-Bahn ride from the airport and is located withing 10 steps of a tram station and 1-2 minutes from a bus and the underground. Not to mention right across the street from old town (which is the main focal point of tourism for Munich) and a 15 minute walk from their famous festival beer garden. The hotel is really modern (however it is a bit small) if you're travelling as a couple or close friends it wont be a problem. It had EXCELLENT air conditioning and a large modern bathroom. Would recomment to others. Check in is on the 2nd floor, no problems whatsoever.
