The hotel is very convenient to the Hauptbanhof, yet it was quiet at night, so sleep well. The people at the front desk were very accomplished, helpful, and polite. The hotel offers a very good start to the morning at the buffet breakfast for a reasonable fee. My room was clean and overlooked an open area between other buildings which allowed a good amount of light into the room. Also, the hotel is a 15-minute walk to the Marienplatz. (A pedestrian area near to the Fraenkische, Glockenspiel and the Hofbrauhaus.) There are plenty of restaurant's in the immediate area as well as those in the Marienplatz. My 5 night stay was most pleasant!

No frills in Munich

Very convenient and affordable close to the train station. No frills, somewhat dated ambience. I booked it because it offered a gym, didn’t have a chance to use it in the end.

Avoid booking rooms located near the road between the hotel and Munich HBF. its very noisy and you can't have a sound sleep.

Really liked the location; right across the street from the main train station and reasonable walk distance for sight seeing. Munich is not a city for later-night strolling but fine during the day. Older facility is a bit worn but does have a small elevator (one). Breakfast buffet is outstanding and very reasonably priced for major downtown area. It’s not the Ritz but it suited us just fine.

A clean and convenient hotel with good value

It’s extremely convenient since it is located directly across the Munich train station. There are good restaurants in the area within very short walking distance. Two things can be improved: bathroom needs to be bigger and we need one TV channel in English. Other than that, it is a clean and friendly hotel with good price. I would highly recommend it.

Absolute worst stay in 2025. It's run more as a hostile hostel. It's a bad sign when teens are lounging in the lobby and lighting up mj. Noisy late night partying and no staffers available to police the property.
