Awesome place to stay
A couple of friends & I stayed at Hotel Stachus for a week while we went to the Christkindl Markets in Munich. The hotel was so convenient to everything from the markets, trains, & tourist attractions. The room was very clean & beds were very comfortable. Next time I’m in Munich, this will be my go-to place to stay. Highly recommend this place.

December Christmas markets
Weather was what I expected. A little colder would have been nice maybe a little snow. Hotel was a short walk to the Christmas markets. Hotel was clean warm and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again

4 days break in munich
Hotel is ideally situated for sightseeing only 10 minutes walk from marianplatz and shopping area Staff were helpful & attentive letting us leave our bags after an early flight and come back to check in Breakfast buffet is worth the extra plenty of selection and plenty of hot drinks to start your day Room was great clean and good street view that wasnt too loud at all Maybe could add some tea coffee making facility in the room or is that me being English Overall great stay at hotel stachus would definitely go back again

The holet was clean and the staff very helpful and kind. The area is walkable and very connected with the train station and several subway and tram station at less then 5 minutes walking. The hotel is very close to the old town which allows you to walk everywhere

This Hotel is quite basic: They promised to give me and 2 other colleagues 3 rooms (upgraded d ones with king size bed) the only prepared for us 2 /3 promised rooms, for the other it was a significantly lower class) when I approached tge front desk about this issue, they mentioned that there os nothing they can do!! Main disadvantages- no safety deposit box, no amenities, no hospitality equipment such as drinking glass, coffee machine, napkins, …) The air conditioning not working, when i changed the room it was only a fan not the heating in 0 degrees munich. No drinkable water in the room, basically you get a bed a chair and a Tv) NO LATE CHECK OUT IS allowed! Advantages: Location- walkable distance to metro, shops, and restaurants) The breakfast is not worth the price, it is quite minimal and basic. The property is clean and they give you a drink if you choose not to get the room cleaning service on a daily basis!

This property is in a good location for transportation, next to two of the main train/subway stations and next to the big market place. The room was spacious and the bed was huge! The AC in the room we were in didnt work which was pretty disappointing, we tried to sleep with the windows open for air but it was too loud outside. You can also hear the people in rooms next to you pretty well..bathroom could have also been cleaned a lot better. Im not sure if it was the water or toilet but our bathroom had a pretty strong smell to it, and there was mold in the shower where the shower head detached which could be where the smell came from. Overall good stay though!

Stachus is our place to stay in Munich, whether to visit friends for a week or to overnight on our way home. The hotel is conveniently located and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is super convenient and has a central location in the city. The Marion Platz is just across the street, and there's lots of foods & restaurants. Theres even a red light district just around the corner. High middle-eastern population.The one bad thing about the area is the noise you can literally hear everything- taxis, tram, ambulance, even joggers.

Nice Central hotel
The hotel is in a excellent central location, next to the Karlplatz SBahn,UBahn station and a few mins from the HBF. Our room was on the 7th floor was large enough, clean and serviced everyday. Little things like good toilet paper, clean towels if required make a difference but it did lack drawer/cupboard space if you need that. Reception staff were nice and breakfast at €16 is a buffet style with a good choice. Overall we were satisfied if your looking for a decent place to stay.

Stachus was the main area to enter the city center. The room was very clean but did not have any amenities. Note: If you are walking into city center use the entry to train system and avoid crossing busy streets. Much quicker and safer.
