Perfect tourist hotel in downtown Munich. The staff could not have been nicer. I reserved parking in the hotel and loved taking the car elevator! If you need to park a car, I highly recommend to reserve a spot ahead as there are only 6 parking spots. There are 3 coffee shops within less than a minute walk, all amazing. The hotel also has coffee and tea and some apples always available and some wine for a small price. My room was a single, perfect amount of space and a darling antique- design bed. Not that I needed the vanity kit, but the box was open and empty. That is pretty much the only minor negative thing I noticed. I would absolutely stay here again when in Munich.

Probably would chose another hotel next time.
The hotel was aesthetically pleasing, but checking in took a long time because several people ahead of us seemed to have trouble with the computerized check in system. The bed had plastic or similar under the very thin bed sheets which made for sweaty skin. The bathroom was very small and it had an unpleasant odor off and on - like there was a problem with sewage venting.

Good location for staying in central Munich. Nice room, very good breakfast and extremely welcoming staff. Only quibble was that water pressure in the shower was poor. Recommended

King hotel was a great choice for our stay in Munich. We did a lot of day trips using the train station and the proximity of the hotel to the train station (5 minute's walk) was very convenient. The hotel itself was very clean, not particularly modern or newly renovated but it was good. I wish it had a tea/coffee station in each individual room and not in the lobby. The staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. You can choose to bypass daily room service for a 10 euro voucher to be used towards the breakfast buffet (otherwise it's 19 euro p/p- a bit expensive in my opinion) . Overall, it was a convenient location and a good stay.

I always love the King's hotels, but you can tell they are cutting corners with room quality, thinner sheets, fewer opwels and pillows in the rooms etc..
