This property is right in the middle of all the action anyone would want from shopping to multiple dining options, and everything is walkable. We loved the Germany experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Platzl Hotel on future visits.

Munich offers so much!

Rooms are smaller than others we've stayed in so not a lot of space for accomodating luggage. We found beds extremely hard compared to ours at home but seemed the norm in Europe hotels. Breakfast has a good variety of srlections and Josefa bar is conveniently located in lobby but doesn't accommodate large parties very well. There are restaurants associated with hotel but you enter from outside hotel. Ayingers am Platzl on road behind hotel was very good, we had a delightful dinner there one evening. Hard Rock and Hofbrauhaus is just a block behind hotel. Make sure to check out the Marketplace, food vendors galore. Great location very walkable area to so much.
