The staff were amazing - I got to Gronau train station late (after 10pm) due to travel delays. As a consequence there were no taxis available and so the hotel chef kindly collected me. Absolutely amazingly kind and helpful from all the staff.

convenient

A good overnight stay close to the border with Netherlands and motorways. The only drawback was that English was not spoken by older members of staff. Good comfortable room and a varied breakfast

Hier waren wir entsetzt wie der Zustand des Badezimmer war. Total abgeranzt und dreckig und sehr klein. Die Hebeanlage war sehr laut. Das Zimmer ansich war ok, die Lautstärke war (wie zu erwarten) an einer Hauptstraße laut. Aber für eine Nacht auszuhalten. Hier werden wir nicht nochmal übernachten. Wir können nicht verstehen wir hier so hohe Bewertungen zustande kommen und warum die Negativen verschwinden.

Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal aber leider konnten wir wegen der direkt vor dem Haus verlaufenden Bundesstrasse die Fenster nicht öffnen und das bei sommerlichen Nachttemperaturen - schade!

Het hotel is voor de prijs redelijk tot goed. Erg gehorig vanwege de weg voorlangs. Op verzoek kregen we een binnenplaats kamer echter waren er bouwlui v.a.06.30 luidruchtig bezig. Ontbijt was goed, de thee warm en de koffie koud.

Leider kann ich nicht viel zu der Unterkunft sagen. Wir waren nur zur Übernachtung vor Ort, weil wir ansonsten bei unseren Kindern waren. Für das Schlafen waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Warmly recommended. 10/10

Very friendly staff who was helpful as I arrived later then expected. Room and bathroom were very cosy and spacious. Large parking area. Breakfast was served in a nearby bakery and was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
