We had a pleasant stay here. The location is definitely car-dependent, but the upside is that parking is very convenient. While the rooms are a bit dated, they are spacious and kept very clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. As for breakfast, the variety is somewhat limited, but the portions are sufficient and the food tastes good

Staff was super friendly. Rooms were bigger than expected and clean. The donuts delivery in the morning was a nice touch and the hot local coffee was appreciated. If ever back that way, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The room was clean and spacious but very musty. It needed to be aired out, and even after being out of the room for over 6 hours,with the air circulating. the musty smell lingered.

Very nice customer service at front desk. Unique cabin like atmosphere. Free donuts for breakfast and free ice cream for dessert. Clean, large rooms, great location close to snow, bear valley and historic murphys restaurants, bars, boutique shopping, antiques, great with kids.

Friendly staff but had to wait for front desk person to return to check in. Big rooms. Had problems keeping fridge to stay cold. Tv had light white lines across the screen. They provided frozen burritos and donuts and juice or breakfast which was a plus. Walls thin since I had to hear 20min of you know what. But overall hot tub and sauna were a great place to relax. Make sure to visit Main Street downtown for activities.

The staff are amazing, supplying coffee, soft serve, extra supplies for the room, breakfast and assistance whenever requested. The room was comfortable, with a mini fridge, bar sink, microwave and counter to make food and equipped with a TV that connected to our accounts for streaming which my kids loved. Parking is free and safe. Nearby restaurants are foodie heaven. Calaveras County is amazingly beautiful, and this is the perfect launch point for a trip to Bear Valley, Big Trees State Park or any other local spots.
