Not a 5 star hotel 4 at best. Rooms looks nice on entry but are a little shabby. The pool area is dark and has no sun after lunch. Room was freezing and air con is centrally controlled. Fire alarm went off 4 times during the night (in error) so no sleep. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. I would not recommend or stay again

The rooms were clean but dated. They were lathe rooms but I'm assuming not refurbished for a while. The shower wasn't that powerful, and jept fluctuating between hot and cold. The breakfast wasn't great, and the first time I've seen a queue for tea and coffee. Located near the airport but surprisingly you couldn't hear anything.

The room smelled moldy and had mold on the walls and in the shower. Also, the room, as well as the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke as smoking is allowed on the corridor we were on. The laminate floor between our adjoined room was not secured to the ground. It would be nice if there was a microwave in the rooms, or available to warm up food. The fire alarm activated one early morning, with limited guidance. The nearest emergency exit did not have instructions on how to exit the building. There was also mold in the stairwell between floors 3 and 2. Although the rooms was below average, the service from the staff (majority) was exceptional! We were greeted with a smile. Shaunta and Ezra provided exceptional services. We also enjoyed staff at The Vault! There were many others that provided a warm welcome and comfortable stay for us.

Overall great experience. On the first day we were greeted by M.Mahrouqi and he was so lovely and accommodating. The breakfast could’ve been a little bit better but the orange juice was spectacular. The downside was when showering the drainage wasn’t the best and slow so the toilet would be flooded after every shower and having to put towels on the floor. The other downside when ordering a taxi on ‘Otaxi’ it was quite challenging as only Luxury cars would come up and the price would be absolutely diabolical.Other than that, it was a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Lounge experience was great! Ezra was amazing!

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Ezra from the lounge went the extra mile to make sure we had an extraordinary time. She was attentive to our needs every evening. The property was beautiful and well-maintained. It is definitely worth renting a car because parking is free and it is a bit off the normal path.

Enjoyable Stay in Muscat Oman

An excellent hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient. We were given our room at 7am, even though check in was 2pm. The pool is divine, beds super comfortable and huge beautiful bathrooms. Highly recommend as a relaxing stopover. Thank you to all their staff.

We booked this hotel about a month ago, and on the day of arrival we arrived late and tired to find out that they didn't prepare our room as booked. At first they told us that there is no room for us! Then suddenly a surprise room appeared!!! We went to the room to be surprised that it was used and the bathroom was dirty. We went down to the lobby to discuss with the staff and they gave us an upgrade to another room, and we are grateful for that. But the shocking thing is that when the manager called, she treated us as if we were liars and that the cleaning mistake they have made was made by us!! The room was used and the bathroom was dirty and the manager was rude to us, and this is unacceptable to us👌
