Came in around 11pm and the whole lobby smelled like pot. The two staff at the desk were high and just kinda rude. You had to check-in at the Days Inn next door then move next door to the Beachcomber.
Overall, you get what you pay for. It was very old, run down, and not kept well, but the towels were clean and plentiful, and the sheets were clean as well. The mattresses and blankets had some questionable stains but what do you do.
We checked for bedbugs and roaches and didn't find any so we stayed, it was just for an 8 hour sleep and it worked for our family. a 2BR "suite" for 5 people for $135/night, it was fine enough. Definitely not for any longer than that though.
