It was cozy and comfy in the Jamaican side.
I was given a choice of rooms and I said I didn't care other than wanting a room that was in a quiet spot. Boy did they deliver! We saw many people around outside of our room but never heard them and it was a quiet spot on the road. Our toilet was running when we got there and reported it just so it didn't come back on us but wasn't a problem at all. My only gripe which is minimal is the mildewy smell when running water. I think their pipes and all could probably use some sprucing up but again, nothing that impeded on the stay.

We weren’t aware they would be under construction… but it didn’t bother us. In fact I liked to see hotels updating their property. The room was clean, a little rough from the age. The mattress needs to be replaced, but not unbearable. Wish there was a few extra blankets, but again not unbearable. We plan to return!

The pictures don’t reflect the room, which was run down, motel like, and was moderately clean, we stayed in the Jamaican building. The air conditioning barely kept up in October so I can’t imagine a stay in July, and the light fixtures and bathroom fixtures were all rusted. The linens and beds were clean, the bed was solid as a rock. We spent minimal time at the hotel so it was just a place to lay our heads at night but I wouldn’t book here again.

Not the same motel that I grew up with
The old Jamaican inn is part of the Caribbean property now. We stayed in room 102 which needed a new door. It had been broken into, and one day we could not get back into our room until contacting maintenance. We thank the staff for helping us every time we called.
