Good price value for the area.
This hotel has been around since I was a little girl. It has had mid cost updates and for the price is a very good deal. I gave a medium rating to the service, only because I was told I could move to a room with a balcony the next morning. I inquired the next morning, and they told me to check back. So, at check-out time I asked again and was told they had rooms but I couldn't move.

Excellent location. On the beach, yet close to Murrells Inlet restaurants and shopping. Centrally located between Pawleys Island and Myrtle Beach. Our new go to place to stay when we visit the area.

My wife and I came to Garden City for Family Funeral. We stayed at GCI and enjoyed our stay while there. Was able to take our pet Dig and enjoyed walking the beach. Only thing negative would be lack of customer service checking in. The lady at check in had no persoanality and and seemed stand off ish. Ither than thT stay was goid.

This motel is directly on the water and has good access to restaurants and the pier. The kitchenette is nice for families. The rooms need to be cleanser: stained sheets, last guest’s hair clump on the bathroom counter, coffee cups not fully clean. Also you hear all the exterior noise through the door.

I liked the ocean view. I don’t suggest fully closing the sliding door when on balcony. The outside handle should be like the inside for better grip. Push the glass to open the door isn’t ideal. I would stay again.

Unfortunately our door lock broke our second day. The wonderful staff took care of it while we were out. We watched every morning the routine performed to keep the pool and surroundings clean.The staff is so friendly and helpful. We are repeat guests for approximately 6 years. We will be back.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are recently updated, very nice. The grounds/pool were always neat and clean. Beautiful property! Will be back soon!

It was adequate. The housekeeping girls were really sweet. But very Disappointed to not have a balcony. I Didn t realize the deluxe kitchen rooms were on first floor with no balcony , shade or clear view of ocean. That needs to be conveyed in discription. Quick access to beach
