So they literally have flyers on the walls stating that by order of the police department you can not have people congregating on the street side. Bike week was supposedly the previous week. You couldn't get in to the parking lot or the front entry of the building for the large group of bikers and bikes parked there. Loud music and yelling at people walking and driving by. We couldn't open the doors to get the luggage cart in because they were sitting and eating right in front of them. Hard to park to unload because they and their bikes were scattered everywhere. As for the hotel, it is maybe 60%. It could be a great property, but they went about halfway with a remodel. Bandaid job instead of a real repair and upgrade. It's decent not great. Has awesome access to the beach.

Not bad for an old place

Older beachfront property, dated and pretty barebones. Our unit was very clean, worn with stains on the carpet and signs of wear on the walls it clean and smelled good. Front desk staff was very polite, however a man from the office kept telling us we had to vacate the loading zone immediately…while we were loading. Parking is very inadequate… most of the week we had to park in their auxiliary parking lot nearly two blocks away. Good location, an easy walk to the boardwalk. There is a pizza joint on the second floor. We tried it for dinner and were not impressed, reminded me of bowling alley pizza.

This was the worst experience I ever encountered. Entering the establishment, the lazy river appeared dirty, the elevator flooring was warped. Entering the room all the furniture was outdated a eye sore. 2 full size beds on iron frame seperated by outdated nightstand and dirty telephone. Behind the nightstand was old rice. Old time coffee maker, no condiments to make any coffee, suitable microwave. Tall refrigerator that was rusting on the door, behind the refrigerator a pair of underwear and I believe a pamper. The bathroom a piece of wood behind the toilet tank, rusted tissue holder, rust on corners of mirror, towels and wash clothes felt like sand paper while dry. Couldn't believe my husband had to go to the office and ask for toilet tissue. I never saw housekeeping, room was never cleaned fresh towel placed in a bag in front of the door and if we didn't put the garbage outside the door it was not picked up. I couldn't wait to get the heck out of there. I would not recommend this hotel to worst enemy, very didappointed. When checking out my facial expression must have said if you even utter the words of how was your stay I will let you have it. I advise no one to ever book this hotel. They should closed down or just rent to the many bikers who were outside the hotel all day. Yall definitely should reimburse me my hard earned money.

Check in was easy, Front desk very nice, Housekeeping always had towels at our room door. Hotel is a bit outdated in some areas but most definitely clean.Mama Mia's Restaurant inside the building was very good, Kelly the owner is awesome, such a kind soul. Overall we would stay there again. Outside pool area was also very nice and well taken care of.

We had never been to Myrtle Beach and were visiting friends who just moved there. We booked this hotel because of it's proximity to their home. As soon as you walk in the smell of disinfectant is overwhelming! There was long black hair in the bathtub, the bed was basically a double size cot on a frame. The AC was a window unit that was too noisy to run. When we used the balcony for sitting (that's where the AC was) the whole back of the AC was rusty and falling off. You had to ask for toilet paper. There was nothing nice about this hotel. They need to invest in upgrades. We won't stay there again.

This place is in a convenient location but the noise is terrible especially when trying to sleep also the beds are NOT the most comfortable either. We couldn’t wait to get home to our own bed. Also the chlorine in the hot tube is off the charts. It’s so strong that it will burn your eyes.
