The pool area was terrible all the chairs were ripped, elevators and common areas were very dirty. Rooms were not cleaned daily only after the third day. Front desk personnel were very pleasant and helpful it was a pleasure to deal with them. A plus for the front desk personnel!!

Staff member that checked me in was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Room was ok. Someones sock was left on the floor but rest of room seemed clean. Bathroom vent was very dirty and shower seemed to have some mold/rust issues.

Parking costs $5 (even though Expedia listed it as free). It's not like it's a municipal lot, this place just wants to squeeze every cent they can out of guests. Breakfast is a total waste - boiled eggs are all the protein on offer this morning. One tiny bottle of shampoo in the bathroom with two mini bars of soap (I actually prefer the large bottles locked to the wall at other places, at least you get all the bare necessities). Shower also has no place to put things like razors, and there's no textured floor so it's really easy to slip and fall. Mattress is very firm (uncomfortably so, it was a painful sleep for me). Staff was helpful and friendly, though. Will not be staying with La Quinta in the future, there are better options at this price point.

Everything was top notch. We didn’t choose to try their breakfast, we walked right next door to Friendly’s. But the hotel, pool, workout room and our room were all clean and comfortable. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and very informative with the property and the stuff do around the hotel. But the entire staff was friendly and professional. We enjoyed our stay very much and we will be back.

Pros : Comfortable bed, great price, short walk to the beach. Cons : not much variety with the breakfast and the doors are not at all sound proof. We could here everything going on in the nearby rooms (tv, snoring, talking on the phone)

stayed for 4 nights with my boyfriend, and it was overall a pretty good stay. the room was clean, the only issue was a stain on the comforter so i didnt want to sleep in the bed. i brought my own comforter and blankets and we slept on top of the bed, which you may want to do. The pool was kept clean for the most part and the grounds were well taken care of. the lobby and walkway do smell like wet dog but we were on the fourth floor and it was fine up there. staff was very friendly and you do have to pay $10 to park. would stay here again for another quick trip. overall was pretty good. also very convenient area for restaurants and mini golf.
