Staff was helpful, limited resources to load and unload luggage. Apartment could of been cleaner, showers were inconvenient you had to climb jn a tub that sat very high without assistance. Not enough towels, pool wasnt always cleaned out.

I like that the hotel was very close to the beach. What I did not like was that the bed frame was rusted and broken and ended up cutting me when I walked by also we had to get our own towels for our room. Housekeeping did not bring fresh towels.

We had issues with the first room so we got moved to another room. In the second room the bathroom door was busted at the bottom and when I tried to open the door I couldn’t. I had to keep pushing on it. The beds are too small and a lot of the walls need to be painted. The carpet needs to be replaced in the hallway because it’s dirty and it has an odor. In my first room the towel rack needs replacing due to rust.

I traveled from North Carolina to the beach for a brief getaway with my kids. And I was really disappointed. The staff was excellent and friendly. The hotel itself is something completely different. The couches in every room that I was shown (about 4/5 rooms) all had large stains on them. The lady at the front allowed me to see different rooms if we could find a room with an acceptable couch and we weren’t able. Also half of the rooms we couldnt access because the main key didnt work. So I was offered extra sheets to cover the couches because my toddler can’t resist jumping/sitting on the couch. The rooms didn’t have any trash cans to dispose of any trash. The two TVs didn’t work. One wasn’t connected to anything and I tried to connect it. The second didn’t have a remote control. I tried to download an app to control the smart tv with no success. I called the front desk to

The worst experience ever!!! The whole room was covered in condensation even the comforter. I almost fell twice the floors were so wet. The kitchen was disgusting, the fridge made a loud noise. There was a big roach in the cabinet. The elevator was horrible and no lights in hall.The smell was bad. Trash was all down the hallway. It's too much to list everything that happened at this resort. I checked out the next morning!! Just trust me don't stay at the Palette Resort and tell others not to stay there either!!!

We liked being right in the beach but as far as hotels in the area go this was not it. When arriving our door was open the ac was hanging off the wall and it carried a weird smell . There were stains on the couches and we did see a couple small cockroaches . The hot tub was without hot water the whole time the elevators looked in poor condition and when one of the workers got off they were mopping with a bucket of black water . It didn't seem like they cared about the maintenance of the hotel . Also parking is across the street and a small walk away which was annoying

I never write reviews, especially bad ones, but I just had to for this place. I don’t know if they are just short staffed or if the owners are just trying to suck every dollar out of the hotel. Maybe both. The room itself was not bad, but the hallways, elevator and pool area were terrible. On our third day there, we were unable to use the pool for two days because it was solid green. When I mentioned it to the front desk, she told me that someone takes care of the pool every day. I told her that person clearly didn’t know how to take care of a pool. No apologies or anything. Also, in our hallway, there was a clump of hair on the floor for three days. Obviously, no one vacuumed or checked or cared enough to pick that up. Just gross. Overall, it looks as if the building has not been maintained over the years. A few small things could be done to improve the overall look of the building. I feel sorry for the front office staff because none of this is their fault and the complaints that they have to deal with are out of their control. My advice – – spend a little bit more money and stay somewhere else. That’s what I’ll do next time.

So where we got there that was look like no one clean the rooms... the sofa was discussed black stains everywhere we couldn't even sit on it and when we did complain to change our room they said we try do tomorrow but nothing happened.. We stayed family of 9 they give us only 4 towels and 2 toilet papers And we have only 2 chairs Outside the pool was yellow look like never was cleaned a lot of send and pee no one even clean any thing.. Also around was waking a lot of crackheads.. no good area for family with kids..I traveling a lot but I will not visit this place again and do not recommend to stay there

The hotel looks great, but the room was really small, the beds wasn’t a queen size it was a full , our Tv didn’t work, the staff was rude except the day shift staff was helpful and nice , our room floors was dirty, the pool was dirty, we had to keep going down for clean towels, the balcony doors didn’t open it was for show I guess , it was inconvenient that we had to park across the street. Overall the stay was bad I checked out early

DO NOT BOOK! ROACHES!!! The pictures and reviews on here are very deceiving. This place was awful to say the very least… Pros - Was a beautiful view from balcony Cons - -ROACHES!!! -No daily room upkeep. -Had to walk down daily to get toilet paper and swap dirty towels for clean ones (but good luck waiting in line behind all of the angry guests trying to get help because of rooms having roaches, dirty, and/or broken amenities.) -Mattress caved in in the middle which left us sore from trying not to get sucked into the void. -Shower was broken and handle fell on my child’s foot. -Offsite parking wasn’t bad, but trying to check in / check out at entrance is very difficult and you get parked in. -Pool was green and full of sand. Never saw anyone clean it. I think guests tried to,I know it crossed my mind. -Dirty hallways, Ice Machine and overall grounds were in disarray. I honestly felt bad for the staff, they were friendly. MANAGEMENT needs to take accountability and OWNERS need to invest into their property because it’s obvious from the copy and paste replies that they are acknowledging their issues but have done little to change. I really hope you read this review before you book so you don’t end up swindled like me!

No one hardly ever answers phone they rooms are nothing like the picture mold smell no pots or pans in rooms they don’t even have a manager so no one to complain to we came at 4 room wasn’t ready until 8pm the room was terrible never again highly recommend going somewhere else hotel has potential but needs better management they not cleaning rooms until guess actually come to check in so you could be waiting hours for a room
