Place is a dump. Everywhere is dirty, rooms are dirty and smell like musty, or mold, or weed. Beds are lumpy feel like im gonna roll off it. You get sheets not blankets. Holes in walls, dirt, dust, who knows whatever all along moldings by the floor. Doors are rusty same with the elevator doors. Floors are sticky. Hotel restaurant was closed at 6.30 when i went to check it out. Then i couldn't even walk through to ask the front guy what time it closes said 8 pm online. Then the door was locked from walking through to talk to him through the gym he looked at me like DUH when i asked to unlock it. I would never stay again honestly. I stayed at a little hole in the wall in Virginia that was spotless made this place look bad. The girl who was here at 1pm to check me in was very nice though. But go stay somewhere else if you want a clean place glad it was only one night we got in a day early staying a month at the Patricia Grand.

We have stayed here many times before. It is not the Ritz-but always clean. No one there when we checked in at 9pm except for a guard who didnt know how to do ck in. then went to room-the smoke alarm is chirpping-tried calling front desk-phone there-plugged in doesnt work. so had to go back down to speak to this guard-who again-doesnt have knowledge-says he will try to work on it! told him-either fix it or get us a new room-he says-he doesnt know how to do a new room. he handed us this post note-with our room # he wrote on it and the 4 digit code to open door-then handed us the pass to hang in the car window-and told us to fill it out ourselves. I do not like that there isnt a staff member on duty. there 5 days-no one ever came to get our garbage, new towels or make the beds-5 days! yes-when asked they gave us a couple of new towels, tissues. Tv wldnt work properly-no directions on how to work this tv. I happen to have the the property management phone#-so called him and told him about smoke alarm and tv-he contacted someone and they came in about 5 mins with battery in hand and helped with TV. Room/bathroom clean. Check out-since we never checked in-as the guard was in charge-I wanted paperwork-was not easy. they had a problem took them a little bit to fix it. when I asked q's about the bill-she cldnt answer them. After many times of asking-I gave up and said-I will deal with it later on. I love that the room is very reasonable-room is clean-the hallways/elevators old

Just a little tweak

I’ve stayed here probably 10 times over the past 3 years. I don’t know if it’s because of the new ownership, but closing the lobby from 6pm til 9 am is unacceptable. I needed a question answered around 1130pm and was told by the “security” that no one would be in until 9 am the next morning. Wasn’t a crazy question so wasn’t a necessity, but I don’t know if any type of management or worker was on site to answer any pressing questions.

This is a place to stay if you're not going to be spending a lot of time in the room. It's pretty cramped and kind of gross, the moisture from the ocean has clearly gotten to the place, but it's not that expensive and it's in a great area.

Rundown & out of date

Let me start out by saying this. I was told at the front desk that at the end of the month the Hotel was being taken over by its new owner, And the desk clerk was going to lose their job. This was probably the worst trip I've. The Econo Lodge wouldn't make this place look Awesome. I stayed at this resort when it first opened up and it was a flagship Hotel at Myrtle Beach.. Can't say that now. they have really let it go downhill. All of the fixtures in the room were rusted. Who's ever heard of a kitchenette with no silverware. plates. etc. The toilet was broken upon our arrival. Had to call for someone to come fix it. When standing in the bathtub, it felt like there was no bottom to it, about to fall in anytime. I hope the new owner has intentions of. tearing this place down. completely down. or doing some extensive remodeling.

The so called waiter/bartender scammed us out of $100!!! We asked for our money back and he refused. The pool and hot tub and lazy River all were disgusting. Never saw anyone maintaining them. The stairs to garage were covered in cigarette butts for entire trip. I can give more specifics if anyone really cares. Only positive was the check in girl.

Has pools and lazy river - neither heated so felt chilly. Paid for room online and then we had almost $60 in extra fees when we arrived. We got there at 2:15p and our room was ready but would’ve had to pay another $30 to get in since it wasn’t 4pm. We’ve never had to pay extra to get into our room just a little early - not like we were trying to get in before noon! Broken wall outlet cover, dirty couch, long black hairs all over floor, something on lamp shade and just a general unclean feeling. Bed and pillows were comfy (after fully inspecting) and the ocean front view was great although a very small balcony.
