There was a fire overnight that caused all guests to be outside for an hour and a half from 3:15-4:45. While I am grateful the alarms worked and the fire department was able to handle it, I feel the response (or lack thereof) was disappointing. There was zero communication- not a word in person from the employee during the event or a text, email, note under the door, etc. the next day. I’m surprised, I would have expected some sort acknowledgment and reassurance, even just “happy to report everyone was ok, we’re resolved the issue and don’t expect any further fires for the remainder of your stay”. Fire aside, the whole building had a dank musty smell and wasn’t the cleanest. Crumbs on the carpet, hairs on the sink. I wish I had read the reviews more closely vs just relying on the star rating as the two don’t seem to align.

Photos misrepresent the quality of this accommodation. Slapping paint and creating a breakfast room is not an upgrade. It’s very outdated with what did you taketoxic smell in the hallways from low quality commercial carpet similar story in the room. nfortunately, there was a fire in a room during our stay prompting all guests to evacuate

Wow. What a overnight

So it was a good check in to the room. The second floor was not bad. The issue was the 2 amish fire scare until 4 am. The staff made sure people were aware to evacuate the hotel and I did appreciate the response time of Mystic Fire department. The fire department was very busy for Labor Day weekend. Even today Monday, the Mystic village supposedly had a fire issue. The crazy thing at check out no kind of thought to a small reimbursement or Hilton certificate to stay anywhere. However from what I understood everyone got out of hotel.

Very dated property I’m guessing recently acquired by Hilton . Hallways dark and stained carpets. Room was clean. Staff was welcoming , friendly and very helpful. Breakfast area appeared renovated and was well stocked. Location was very convenient to walk to Old Mystik.

This is an older property that has been updated now under the Hilton umbrella. They did a great job. Very clean, nice room with comfortable beds, great staff, good breakfast and had a pool that was very clean. Close to all there is to see in Mystic. Was an excellent value! Would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. The continental breakfast was perfect. Good options and nothing too crazy. The beds were comfortable. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. Great location to most things. Everything is about a 4-20 minute ride away.
