This motel is good for one night. It is convenient to shopping. (Old mystic village is right across the street). It is old and needs updating. The carpet in the hallway was badly stained. The bathtub was either dirty or stained. The room was a nice size. The walls are paper thin. We could hear our neighbors and their children clearly.

Never again.
Very disappointed in the state and quality of room, especially for location and price. Bathroom was disgusting mold on ceiling tiles, gobs of caulk over existing molded caulk and poor repairs of holes in walls, “patio” was overgrown and facing a parking lot and highway and security was lax. Door into motel area was not working so anyone could gain access.

This hotel was so dirty we could NOT stay there! One look at the room and we left. Your pictures on line are not accurate of the hotel! We want a refund!! Terrible experience! Had to find another hotel!

A little older and could use a few repairs, but love that it is HoJo retro. Lovely staff and a great classic diner next door. Convenience and price point can’t be beat. Wish I had time for the pool.

The staff was very nice but the place is run down. Although the staff was keeping up with the cleaning of the hotel, the bathrooms are run down and there dents in the walls, it could use a face lift. To be honest the place is loud, doors were slamming, people were talking, I heard dogs barking and I don’t even think it’s a pet friendly hotel or I wouldn’t have stayed in the first place. Nothing against animals. These are just a few things I noticed that could use some fixing.

I did not know that there was $100.00 up charge for a check in. The clerk said smile and I won’t charge you 100. I asked him what $100? I then asked my husband is that what he said $100? The clerk said only my attempt at humor. I didn’t see anything about being charged for early check-in I would have come back later. The entry door into the wing of our room was dismantled anyone could have entered. I did take a picture of this. Suffice to say we will not stay in this Hotel again or any other in your network. Truly disappointed. I also will let my friends and family to choose another Hotel.

This was a great location. Front desk man was very helpful and the rooms were nice, big, and I loved the shade of blue they were painted. Nice to have chairs outside for enjoying the weather. Right across the road from Olde Mystic Village and walkable to down town if you're up for a longer walk. Safe and sidewalked the whole way. Mystic diner had good food. Pool looked great although sadly I forgot my suit!

Pretty Bad!!
The only 2 positives: the gentleman at the front desk was very kind and polite; and the beds/pillows were clean and comfortable. Everything else was pretty horrible. Most bothersome to me: The exterior door lock to the hotel was completely broken - so where one should have to use their key card to enter, it was just a swinging door that anyone could enter from the outside; the hotel's interior is disgusting - the stains on the hallway carpet and walls, and the general odor of the place is very offensive; the rooms are in bad shape - very dingy and rundown. The attention that's been given to the front of the hotel and the lobby needs to translate to the hallways and rooms. The pictures on Hotels.com are false advertising. We will never stay here again.

Absolutely disgusting, filthy. Room has putrid stench of mold mixed with urine. Building very old, completely dilapidated. Unfit for human habitation. Should be condemned and demolished. Worst “hotel” experience in my life by far.

The tub was filthy, only two sets of towels left for 3 people. Guess it didn't matter as no one would take a shower in that tub. There was marijuana residue and small joint left on bed side table. Had to wipe everything down with antibacterial wipes. Side door was open, card scanner broken. Anyone could walk into the place at anytime. Then they have the nerve to put a $100.00 hold on a credit card!!!!! Was a reasonable price but no price is good when the room is not clean or you don't feel safe.
