I was pleasantly surprised that there was AC in addition to the ceiling fan, which I kept on to keep mosquitos away while asleep. I saw the mosquito net and ceiling fan in the hotel room photos and expected that there won’t be an AC.

Hotel is very nice but service could be better. There was no towel and no pillow cases in our room and when we realised and told them, they said it was too late (9pm) and the room with pillow cases and towel was closed. They found ugly synthetic towel, not very clean …

Club Fiji was fantastic. It is a place to really relax - with pools and hammocks. The burres were clean and simple. The staff were friendly. The facilities were simple but that's what I really enjoyed.

We needed last minute accommodation for 4, arriving late and luckily leaving early the next morning. The room had 2 single beds with stained sheets and a fold out futon that didn't come with any bedding - we pulled apart the beds to give the kids sheets and blankets and they used couch cushions. No towels and the floor was gritty. Requested towels & bedding but the staff didn't bring them. Surrounding area was very run down and didn't feel safe.

Very dirty and rundown didn't even take a shower. Pictures were misleading. Actually booked in for four nights in effect paid to leave after 1 night. Inducements to leave a positive review so its a con. Do not book here.

While it's on a beach, it's not a beach for swimming. The resort is on unpaved road. Breakfast is expensive with limited offering. But the staff is willing to help. It can work if need a place to stay for a day or two before heading to one of islands. It's a quite place.

The quality of service needs a lot of improvement. The breakfast is ordinary, no complimentary drink or water on arrival, transportation being negotiated to adjust with others despite confirming it earlier, the tour operator was below average

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The room was not what we purchased. (Two twin beds instead of a king that we reserved.) There was a connecting door to the room next door that had a large gap under it. Those folks came in late and loud then left their TV on all night at a very high volume. We had no bath towels or washclothes in our room so I used the floor mat that was there to stuff under the door so we could get some sleep. The hotel is remote and down a rutted dirt road. The beach area is nice and it appears to have some beautiful bures on the property

Close to airport and bed was very comfortable. I got the beachfront bure and I loved it. Barman Ben was very hospitable and makes strong margaritas :) Tip: Make sure you see your name written on the chalk board to secure your taxi back to the airport.

The room was standard, clean, outdated and in need of repair & makeover. No cutlery except 2 plastic spoons, 2 cups, 2 glasses, complimentary tea, coffee and one creamery sachet, no complimentary milk in fridge, and a kettle. No plates or bowls, no tissues. No microwave to heat up our food and towels we had to chase staff daily which they humbly apologised as we found out later during cleaning the staff would take the used towels and wash/dry them before bringing them back to the hotel room. No facewashers. Handtowels were not provided daily even after several requests. WIFI was slow and an issue as I needed to check my emails and keep in contact with family overseas. No room phones available so we couldn't ring for room service or ask for information unless you go directly to reception which was another hassle. If there was an emergency that would be a problem. No Disability Access anywhere e.g. no ramp to Resort Entrance, no pool rails, only steps built to the restaurant, toilets with no disability access or babychanging section. No PPE worn when staff bringing platters of food, cutlery and plates to the breakfast bar without gloves. During breakfast, cutlery and plates would run out and we had to wait or ask staff for some which took awhile. Two pillows on the King Size bed only. Would've preferred extra two for my cousin and I. All credit to some staff for all their hard work, trying to accomodate our stay with the little resources and manpower they had.

Our time here was really good, particularly for the reasonable price. Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful and the outdoor areas were relaxing. Some minor quirks included pot-holed dirt road access, confusing pool towel access, and booking 3 people to one room, which was possible, but I wouldn't do it again (it was squeezy and not really designed for it).

Great value and quiet beach front location
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Club Fiji in a Bure. The bed was comfortable and the linen was beautifully soft. The location was lovely, right on the beach and very quiet. It is a little further out but it depends on what you’re after. Two restaurants in site and plenty of activities (2 pools, spa, kayaks, pool table and many other things). I feel this place has received a bad wrap from many reviewers and some people just have too many first time world problems. For the price, it was excellent.
