The staff at the Hilton beach resort are absolutely friendly, kind and engaging, you couldn't ask for nicer people. The property is showing its age and does need a thorough refresh if not a complete renovation or rebuild considering that many of the adjoining resorts are rebuilding. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was enormous and we we're grateful for the laundry and kitchenette, as our apartment backed onto an adjoining resort there is noise from the nightclub next door but it does get quite after 10pm The restaurants nearest to the lobby are very nice with great food options but the adults only restaurant is not Up to scratch in regards to food and service. Overall a solid 4 star resort, but certainly not the 5 star resort it's claiming to be.

Over priced for what you get . The service is very bad - room wouldn’t get cleaned until 5/5.30pm in the afternoon when we were trying to get ready for the evening . Once asked for an extra pillow to the room and took the hotel an hour and a half - I had to phone reception and even offer to pick the pillow up myself . Bed was old and uncomfortable , pillows where uncomfortable too . Biggest advice would be go to the other hotels which are next door - I would suggest the Marriott or the Sheraton . Final words would be when you pay premier prices you would expect high quality service and this did not occur . The hotel was ok but not worth the extra money I paid for the room ( $600 AUD per night ) .

Okay, don't trust the Hilton Brand with this one. we were fooled as well. not enough things to do with kids and family or couples, only if you want to read a book by a dead-silent pool. very old hotel, mosquitoes everywhere and staff didn't really care. I've been to Intercon last year and staff couldn't be any friendlier whereas Hilton was quite the opposite. I'd pay more and go to Sheraton/sofitel if you have family/couples. breakfast buffet was average, dinner buffet was below average, no Wow factor anywhere. pools had no music and hardly anyone using it. people all just read their books and not much kid friendly things to do.

Mixed Experience Our stay was okay overall, with a few highlights—but also several frustrations that held it back from being truly enjoyable. What We Liked: • Kids Club: Packed with activities that kept the little ones entertained for hours. • Swimming Pools: Great variety and well-maintained. • Breakfast: Solid selection and tasty options to start the day. • Fiji Airways Check-In Onsite: Huge convenience—no need to arrive at the airport 3 hours early. What Fell Short: • Hidden Costs at Kids Club: The Build-a-Bear experience felt almost unavoidable and came with a hefty price tag (over $100). • Coffee Situation: Machine-made coffee was subpar, and with only two machines for 100+ guests, there were frequent issues—milk running out, machines rebooting, long waits. • Inconsistent Room Cleaning: Housekeeping often came late in the day (after 4pm), which was inconvenient once we’d returned to the room. • Room Condition: Dated interiors, including a leaking bathroom ceiling and non-functional phones to reach reception. • Construction Nearby: No noise, but the view from some rooms was bleak and uninspiring. • Water Slide Closure: Oddly shut down between 12–2pm—right when kids want to play. • Service Gaps: Staff didn’t always follow through on requests. We asked for a 5:30am luggage pickup—no one came. Also requested early breakfast access due to a flight, but were turned away until managment involvment. Not exactly customer-first approach. Summary: okay, but not special.

We stayed in a one bedroom beachfront room that also included a living room, kitchenette, laundry, and furnished balcony. Of all the high-end hotel properties in Denarau, I like Hilton's set-up the most (see pictures). I especially loved the patio furniture on the balcony. There was a generous selection of coffee and tea on the kitchen counter, and the refrigerator was always stocked with water by housekeeping after their daily cleaning. It was also large enough to stock with groceries if we felt like cooking, which we could buy by purchasing a Bula bus pass from the boutique and riding it to the Port Denarau Shopping Center. We also ate at the Deli and Maruvu restaurant. All the staff were super friendly and always had smiles on their faces, which made us feel genuinely welcome. We always got asked if we needed a ride when they drove by in their golf carts. Pool amenities and service were great, too! We also enjoyed the beach right in front of our building. There are plenty of sand dollars and sea beans on the beach.
