As far as Hiltons go this one is on its own. Spread out along the beach but golf buggies (bula bus) run up and down all day so easy to get from one end to other where adults only Koro is set. Everything very much over priced. Example Heineken 10-12FJD on other resort and places we went, but 18FJD here. (5 for 30FJD in Denarau). Food also similar. Guess it’s just part of your holiday expense, but they shouldn’t have to be stinging tourists. Generally good all round but we had a surprising experience checking out at 06.30 with unexpected charges for B/Fast (92FJD a day) which we were told on check in was included. Asked them to refund the last day as we could not have B/Fast as leaving at 06.30 but a blunt “no it’s a non refundable charge”. Still waiting a response to email?

The facilities are good, the beach is limited given Denarau is an island on reclaimed land and the inner sea is very shallow, which is good for children but there are limited waves and no reef. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is relatively expensive, especially in the school holidays.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hilton. The staff were so warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure the kids had a memorable holiday. The motorised watersport staff onsite were amazing and we enjoyed the best snorkeling/jet ski trip ever. Our room was looking a bit tired but the space and quietness of our room (2brm penthouse) was fantastic. This resort is quite long and the 'bula express' makes it easy to get from your room to the communal areas of the resort. Breakfast options were plentiful and tasty and the view is amazing from the pools and restaurants. On site convenience store and gift shops were well stocked. We are four happy visitors and will be back soon.
