Convenient with good service support.

I have decided to book two rooms in this hotel based on the rating, photos of the hotel and the location in the center of the city Sakae. Hotel front door and lobby looked grand on arrival, however both the rooms and the toilets are quite outdated when we walked into the room. The toilets, the rooms and the bedsheets are clean; however some of the bed mattresses need replacement as it was very soft probably due to the beds must have slept by many visitors previously, making it difficult for me to sleep in the middle of the bed, but to sleep by the side of the bed during my stay. One thing I have to give a big credit to the Concierge, especially Molly, they have given very good advise to us to go around Nagoya and she has made extra effort to print the direction for us and looked for us when we were having breakfast in the restaurant. All of us really impressed of her professionalism. Overall, the hotel is quite good, however it's definitely time for them to renovate the guest rooms where possible.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel within walking distance of the subway station and with its own taxi rank. The hotel has 3 restaurants inside as well as having options outside the hotel and convenience stores. The rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. The hotel also has a fitness centre which I used and facilities were in great condition and modern.

For North American travellers, this property is much better than its rating. It is a beautiful property about a 10-15 minute taxi ride from Nagoya station. Local train station from the hotel is about a 5 minute walk. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Most spoke enough English to help us navigate the local sights and train system. Many restaurants and stores in the area. It took us about 10 minutes to get from the hotel to Nagoya castle. Very highly recommended

Tokyu Nagoya is a great hotel. The breakfast was superb, the business centre nice to relax for a drink and staff were very friendly. Its in the Sahljae with plenty of eating options. We enojoyed our stay and would reco.mend to others.

Hotel needs better trained staff.

Untrained & arrogant staff. The bell Desk booked the wrong taxi leading to delay & extra costs. He is Untrained for the job he is tasked for. The FO Manager was rude & arrogant. When asked to speak to his manager, said he is the highest ranking person the guest can talk to! Never seen such arrogance in the hospitality sector. And that too in Japan. Rooms are dated but ok & location is nice. Avoid rooms on lower floors as they have no view.
