No airport transfer, but still wonderful hotel

The front desk is amazing. They order taxis and assist with ideas of where to go and what to eat. The one thing that needs to be more honest is that there IS NO AIRPORT TRANSFER. It says there is on hotels.com but this is not true. The front desk can order you a taxi, but it's very difficult to do over the phone before you arrive.

I was extremely happy with our room which was beautiful until I tried to take a shower at about midnight only to to find there was NO HOT WATER!! I tried calling the front desk but no answer. I went downstairs to see the guy at the front desk and the glass sliding door was locked. I looked and there was no one at the front desk. I knocked on the glass door off and on for about a minute or 2 and no one came. I dont know if the guy was on a bathroom break or what but NO ONE was there. I returned to my room forced to take a COLD shower. This was quite disappointing. Apart from that and the very limited dining options in the area, I would have rated this hotel a solid 5/5.

Didn't feel very clean. Floors were dirty. Bathroom sink had random splotches. Coat hangers were sticky. Limited food in the area. The staff at the reception is nice though, helped reserve a taxi for early morning.

Shuttle Service Not Provided as Advertised

The hotel in general was good., But , the reservation stated that an airport shuttle service was available; however, upon calling from the airport, I was informed that no such service was provided. The delay of our flight further compounded the issue, as there was a shortage of taxis, making the situation quite challenging especially with children.

Quite interesting room decor with a mix of modern and old world. We were a bit nervous about the neighborhood yet we were fine. We arrived around 9pm and left just before 7am for airport.

The place is clean but the room is hot, can’t adjust the control of the air conditioner ( was pre set), the drain in the shower is not draining properly, while taking a shower the water level was to my ankles, took a while to drain the water.

The room itself was a bit small but reasonably clean. However, the bathroom was very small and had visible mold. One major issue was the number of mosquitoes in both the room and the hotel, I’m not sure why, but I had to request mosquito spray every day. The location was disappointing. The area felt unsafe, people weren’t friendly, and very few spoke English. It’s also quite far from the train station and the city center. Honestly, if you can, avoid staying in Naples. The city didn’t have much to offer. We only stayed there to try the pizza and visit Capri and Pompeii, but later realized that Sorrento is a much better base for both, closer, safer, and more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying in Sorrento instead.

The hotel was clean and centrally located to shops and restaurants. However I would point out that we arrived on Sunday afternoon and all shops were closed. This was a little disappointing because we were only there for one night. Pasquale was at the Hotel desk and was an excellent resource answering all of our questions and concerns. The breakfast that came with the room was also excellent. This hotel would be a recommendation from me as it was a wonderful experience.

The room was clean and spacious. Kitchen staff was nice. Drawback is it doesn’t have its own parking space for guests. Lady Receptionist didn’t provide an extra key card for us ( only 1 for 4 adults). We asked and they said they only give one. The surrounding area is so so.

Expensive to get to from airport by taxi

We were hoping for somewhere close to the airport and therefor cheap to get to. Unfortunately it was a (standard) 25€ taxi fare to get the relatively short distance there (not safe/practical to walk it) so it defeated the object of staying there. Also a lot of noise outside the hotel (traffic and people) at around 6am. However, the room and staff were nice and the breakfast was good.
