TL;DR : This is NOT a hotel. It is a BnB-like accommodation with misleading advertisement. Owner also tries to browbeat negative reviews by threatening calling the cops.
We arrived in a graffiti laden alleyway at around 4pm, well within the 2 to 8pm check-in time (front desk is supposed to be open from 8am to 8pm) to a door with a lockbox.
We ring the location and get no answer. We find a note that says that we need to contact someone through WhatsApp if it's after 2pm. Which is... highly irregular.
Contact the number (good thing we had international data) and no response so I start looking at the lockbox. Within seconds, I get it open and find a bunch of keys. Didn't feel comfortable taking the keys so I tried to close the box again but couldn't anymore.
After nearly 2 hours! I finally get a response after I contacted Expedia to get a refund. He gives me instructions to open the lockbox and tells me it's my fault because we checked-in after 2pm. We got no instructions of that sort from him (or at all).
Turns out, the lockbox code was not one that I had tried which now freaks us out considering how easy it was to open, anybody could have made doubles.
Asked for a refund directly because both not a hotel room or safe and he refused. Ended up going elsewhere. After he saw a negative review on google, he sent us the cop threat.
This is NOT a hotel. Nobody works here. The 8am to 8pm front desk is a lie and is not manned. We even saw other people waiting the next day.
Don’t stay here is my best recommendation. Find a different Hotel

I typically choose hotels based on the services offered. One important service for me is airport transportation (even with a fee) since I find taxis can try to overcharge you. That was one of the reasons The Fresh was selected. So I was disappointed when I emailed them a couple of days prior to my arrival to arrange transportation and was informed that my arrival time was a busy period and it would not be available. Again, I was disappointed but understood since my arrival in Naples was during a timeframe typically used for check-in. So I took a taxi and paid more than double the price quoted by The Fresh. To avoid this issue for my departure, I immediately emailed the owner after check-in to arrange transportation for my departure several days later. I was then informed that the service was not available period. I sent screenshots from their website and Expedia stating that airport transport is available for a fee. I was then told that they don't offer it anymore. This really upset me. It upset me more than the A/C that you could only feel when you in a specific spot in the room and that they turned off daily resulting in my coming from a very hot outdoor environment into a sweat box. More so than the internet service that kept going in and out. Consistent A/C and internet service were not advertised but airport transport was. If I was aware of this, I would not have spent my money and my Expedia points at this location. If you don't offer a service, don't advertise it.

Too expensive for the accommodations.
Rooms requested were not available the day we arrived. However, the owner was there when we arrived. I did not realize that we would have needed an elevator. No elevator! Owner was pleasant. The B&B was on the second floor in Italy it's the first floor. Had to walk up and down with luggage. We arrived on a Thursday rooms requested were available on Saturday.

Best thing about this hotel is its location, just a minutes walk away from one end of Centro Storico and many of the tourist attractions. Affordable price and overall good quality of room, although the bed was pretty hard and the shower very small, and breakfast could be improved by having more savoury options. Staff here speak almost no English but can provide a map of the area, and its easy enough to find your own way around.
Although it didn't look like it from the outside, the hotel was nice inside, and in a good location. The air conditioning was very weak and the wifi was so spotty. Most times it did not work in our room. We use wifi to plan our days, etc. the breakfast was good.
very nice and polite staff, a little bit poor english knowladge like in general in Napoli. breakfast always on time with a lovely warm croissant, cake and etc. in the end of our visit been offered a taxi to airport, cheap and on time. atmosphere was awesome and comfortable. it is the right place to stay.
I stayed in the Fresh for 4 nights in October 2014 - I arrived late (very late) and had not realised I needed to tell the hotel in advance; no fear, they called me and it was all sorted (THANK YOU).
The rooms are comfortable and brightly decorated - the decor seems to be lime green or pink and it gives the place a modern feel despite the building being an old building in old naples.
The location is great - 3 minutes from the heart of old naples and 10 minutes from the highlight for me - Napoli Underground.
Lovely Hotel, great location, close to everything, Naples bay, Royal Place, Castle Nuevo just a stones throw away. The University and Metro underground line is just around the corner as well as the fabulous shopping streets!

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Room & bathroom were a bit small. Location wasn't the greatest either. Clean and good service though.
Worst hotel stay in a very long time..
1. At 10 Am day of check in the hotel manager Alessandro called to say that The Fresh has a boiler issue - hence no hot water and we had to go to sister hotel Hrooms.
2. Hrooms was located away from everything - port, train station, city centre - had to use crowded Naples metro to get around every day. The manager was under the impression he was doing us a favour.
3. Hrooms has no staff other than non English speaking cleaning lady. There was no one at reception after we checked in for the entire 3 days stay. 4 different keys were needed to get onto the building, hotel and then room!
4. Toilet would not flush and my dad had to fix it as there was no one to ask for help.
5. After a shower the entire bathroom was flooded - again - no one to ask for help - so we left it for cleaning lady to drain next day.
6. Requested triple room for 3 adults and at The Fresh the reservation indicated 3 beds would be available. We got one double and a very uncomfortable sofa bed- I am only 5ft 4 and my feet were out.
The only positives I can think of are the size of the rooms and cleanliness.
It should really be marketed as serviced apartments or something along these lines (there is no hotel staff or service to speak of) to manage expectations.
