My husband and I were in Italy for about a week and this was the worst hotel we stayed at. For the price we expected a little bit more luxury but frankly it failed basic standards. The first room they put us in had ants and dead insects. When we informed them, the person who came to inspect the room tried to gaslight us and said the ants weren't a big deal. They finally decided to give us a new room and the sheets in that room had tears in them. The overall upkeep of the hotel is subpar--especially given the prices. The furniture is chipped, they are holes in wood panels, dust balls on the floor, the rug in the hallways were stained with the threads visibly pulling. The rooftop was nice but doesn't make up for the other significant misses!

Think twice before making a reservation.

The front desk was friendly as we checked into the hotel.”I immediately asked about dinner reservations while we were spending our time. The reception person informed me that no restaurant in Napoli takes reservations because they are all too. My husband and I figured we’d find restaurants on our own. The most important negative, is our shower never turned off. The faucet was so tight that we couldn’t turn it off each night. A maintenance man would fix it, we thought, but it dripped all night long. This happened the three nights were stayed there. It never did get fixed properly. It should be very easy to turn off, but it wasn’t that way at all. We had to always ask for Kleenex and soap. It appeared nothing was replenished each day. There was never water replenished for the instant coffee pot except the first day of our stay. I’d have to ask each time again. The only plus was the Roof Top Bar and Restaurant. The server, bartender and waitress were all an absolute delight. I could mention other unfortunate negatives, but I’ve stated enough. We will never recommend this hotel in Napoli, Italy. .

Smart hotel with amazing restaurant views

Very conveniently located by the central railway station in a nicely converted old building. Big room with good ensuite and comfortable bed. There were balcony windows. I think there might have been air conditioning but there were no instructions and I couldn't get it to work. Really good value and varied breakfast on the 6th floor roof terrace with amazing views over the city and Vesuvius.
