The room was spacious, with comfortable sitting chairs for reading. My young adult son and I had two separate rooms and we were each very satisfied. We took a bus to Nara Park, with its temples, shrines and museums and later walked back to the hotel, with a couple of stops along the way. The breakfast buffet had a very wide variety of Japanese and Western foods. I think that we received the buffet as an Expedia reward of some kind.

Amazingly convenient, just steps from the JR Nara Station. Walking distance to Nara Park, or catch a local bus right outside to the major sightseeing destinations in Nara. Nespresso pods were a nice touch, onsen on the 6th floor was also spacious and relaxing. Highly recommend staying there for your trip to Nara.

Great Nara Hotel
Nikko Nara hotel is a nice place. Clean, good staff, great breakfast and just steps from the Nara train station. I highly recommend staying there for your trip to Nara.
