Short while after we arrived my wife and I were showering etc and someone who had the same room key entered my room. Never happened to me before. When i told the man at the front desk he denied it happened to me. I was in a hurry and thought yes I will never come to this hotel again.

Frustrating
The check-in was frustrating. There were several people in the lobby, on a Friday afternoon, at check-in time - waiting for their rooms to be "ready." On a Friday afternoon. The young lady working at the counter handled it with grace and composure and you could tell she was feeling an immense amount of pressure. The young man at the counter acted as if he couldn't be bothered with the guests, or to assist the young lady. So, we were told to come back in an hour to see if the room was ready. "Here are some free drinks to keep you occupied." One hour and 30 minutes later, the room was ready. The floors were sticky, the room looked like it had been quickly wiped down, and felt moist. I assume that they are short staffed. I think I will avoid the boutique hotels from now on.

Great location, but Deluxe rooms are very small and not according to the picture on my reservation. No fridge or microwave which seems standard. No information in the hotel or room about any services or things in town, so I assume there was no room service. Hotel was under construction so no lobby or place to sit and work outside of the small room. Smelled like they sprayed a can of glade in the elevator. multiple people commented on it. It felt cheap for the money we paid.

I liked the convenience to the areas we were visiting. There was construction happening inside the lobby, no issue for us we were aware ahead of time. My issues, we were on the 8th floor, but were not told you had to take the elevator to the 7th floor, then change elevators to reach the 8th. There was also a loud sound on and off during the day, and again beginning at 6:30am. We thought it was construction but were told be staff it wasn’t and they didn’t know what it was. I believe it was likely the HVAC, but it was loud enough to wake us from a dead sleep.

The property allowed cats so that's why I chose itCheck in was a breeze. Front desk staff was more than courteous. The hotel was under construction during my trip but my room was wonderful. It was more than spacious. The only thing I didnt like (and my travel mate in another room) was how to turn the bedside lamps on(after trying different combos I got it, my travel mate's did not work). Could be due to the construction. The valet was a little pricey for my liking but the valet staff always had my car ready when I needed it. Breakfast was a little pricey. Although it was good, I can't see us paying that much for breakfast again. Overall, my room was great and my stay was pleasant.
