If you are looking for a place to stay that is clean and affordable in Murfreesboro TN this is the place to go. I have been pleasantly surprised at how quiet & clean the clarion actually is. They also serve hot breakfast (sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, potatoes, waffles, etc) which we absolutely loved about it. Vini and all of the front desk staff are very friendly and willing to help if you need anything at all. I wasn’t so sure about it at first but I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone

Clarion Murfreesboro
The Clarion is nicely situated around many restaurants and shopping areas like Walmart. The pillows are cloud soft and queen beds sleep nice! Price is great for the Murfreesboro area and the full breakfast is a nice touch, would recommend for the family as there is an indoor pool.

This Clarion should Not be on Expedia. I have no problem with many “budget” hotels, but this was not just scratchy, it was scary. My wife walked through the hotel and it had NO lights in areas. None of the signage was readable. The area outside was even worse. Don’t book it. Expedia, for your own reputation, get them out of your system.

We had an excellent stay at the Clarion Hotel. The front desk attendant was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist us with any requests we may have had. Our room was spotlessly clean. The air was fresh and clean, and all the furniture and appliances were new and modern. The carpet was so clean that it looked almost spotless, and the tile floors sparkled underfoot. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all the linens and towels were brand new, crisp, and clean. We had plenty of towels and washcloths available.

We changed two rooms because of the terrible smell in the room. It smelled like sweat, fried food, and urine… in short, a disgusting mess of a hotel. The sheets were dirty; in my opinion, they don’t even change them. The bathroom was filthy! The toilet paper was dirty and looked like it had already been used; the roll wasn’t new. In conclusion, a complete disgrace of a hotel.

Photos are misleading. Pool and hot tub are for show only. Cold water in both, hot tub slightly warmer but not functional. Very thin walls, had noisy neighbors unfortunately and not able to check out early due to third party booking (Expedia). They wouldn’t refund us if we wanted to leave after first night. Staff is friendly but breakfast, amenities and “arcade” are not usable. Good only as a place to sleep. Nothing extra.

Nice enough place but they're trying too hard to be "luxury and expensive" for as dull and dingy as the whole place is, the $100 deposit was unnecessary. Breakfast was a step above most places, very much enjoyed and the attendant was very friendly. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and moved us to an interior room which was nicer with having kids. The walls were paper thin though, I could hear every room on all sides of us. The pool and hot tub were a nice feature. A very nice place overall, clean and well run.

The receptionist was very rude & inconsiderate!! One roll of tissue, not enough towels & wash towels. The housekeepers harass you & stand @ your door til you check out! Which was annoying? They reminded us several times about check out. The manager questioned my 18 yr old for being in the lobby! The new management sucks & that will be last time staying there!!
