Bad and rude front desk staff
I was not told when I got the reservations that the hotel was under renovations. The front staff was very rude, acting as if they didn't even want to be there, you did not feel welcome. The next morning when I was checking out I had to go to an early meeting, I asked the from desk if I could get an extra hour on my check out, my son was asleep in the room while I went to my meeting. You would have thought I'd asked for a major favor, I have asked many times for an extra hour on check out and only a few times ever turned down and usually because there was an event in town. They didn't have any events and had several open rooms. The from desk lady said "let me check" it took her 5 mins and 33 secs to figure out she could but even then she was like, I really shouldn't do this but this one time I will allow it? Who says that? I actually made it back in time and checked out 30 mins ahead of my normal check out time of 11 am. But I won't go back to this hotel.

The check in person was very friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms are in rough shape. They are in the middle of a long needed remodel. Also, our room wasn’t fully stocked. Only one cup for the coffee maker and short towels. The location was excellent.

Property needs a refresh. Check in desk area floors and carpet unclean. There was musicians playing upon arrival it was so loud it was hard to hear checkin attendant. Also brochures for site seeing tucked behind the elevator wall. The breakfast area carpet filthy but there were clean tables and food prep area. This place needs updating. I reported the low water pressure in shower upon departure. Room was nice and also clean.

We had a wheelchair accessible room, as my mother is confined to one due to terminal cancer. The entire bathroom flooded when we turned the shower on because the drain did not properly drain. I went to the front desk to let them know and they put us in another room that was NOT wheelchair accessible. The shower pull was broken so I had to go back downstairs to let them know and they did immediately send maintenance. It only took him about 10 minutes to fix the shower. Our bed was broken (which I have pictures of). The entire middle of the bed sunk in because it was broke. There was a huge opening in the door to the adjoining room. The room stunk of mildew. It was just filthy. I will never again stay at this property.

Good location to downtown and walk. We really enjoyed the staff, very friendly and the morning buffet was very good. The only thing i was surprised about was the room was not cleaned just bed made and some new towels. There was stuff on the rug and bathroom floor that was never cleaned.
