12 south stay

We stay there because it was close to the venue we were attending. Its was a great place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a good place to stay around 12 south.

From the moment we stepped through the doors we felt at home. Andrew and Karina were so welcoming and helpful! The patio area is so cozy and inviting, live music to boot! Our room was gorgeous, clean and comfy! Steps away is amazing shopping and restaurants and more! Cristin greeted us in the morning with a big smile and 5 daughter’s donuts (which are out of this world)! A picture perfect southern welcome!! Will definitely stay here from now on!

Love it. This is my favorite place to stay in Nashville. Love the Gilmore. Love the 12 South area. Great shopping and restaurants. Great walking neighborhood. Quiet at night. Perfect!!

We loved our stay at The Gilmore! Have been to Nashville a few times, usually staying near Music Row. You cannot beat The Gilmore's location on 12 South which is just steps from many excellent dining and shopping choices. No restaurant or bar at the hotel itself but you don't need it. The staff was friendly and attentive. Every time I passed through the lobby, whoever was attending the front desk made eye contact and greeted me. Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I wish the water pressure was better but that's more of a city thing. We will be back to The Gilmore!

First it’s not downtown which we knew but certainly didn’t expect parking to be so tight inside the garage and it be $50 a night when you are several miles away from downtown. Next . The only thing great about this place is the flower garden and walk way so after we arrived to the room around 11 pm we went to go sit outside and was told it closed at 10 pm and that we can’t go out there… a outside sitting area closes at 10pm in Nashville???? Next… the bed is hard and sucks Next very noisy first thing in the morning with beeping all morning outside and rollers above us rolling around early… No pool No breakfast We accidentally booked this thinking it was walking distance of 5 mins and it’s mid advertised as 5 min drive time and it’s 15 min drive time at best to downtown This area including this Hotel rolls the sidewalks up at 10 pm… The hotel was nice and clean but won’t stay again for that’s the only benefit

Stayed at this property because of its excellent location to the Fisher Center at Belmont University for the new Dolly Parton musical premiere. This hotel is a gem: nice rooms, awesome customer service and 24 hr front desk. Thursday evening in the courtyard was a poetry session and Friday evening was a musician along with a complementary local brewery beer tasting opportunity. It’s only about 15 minutes into town for all of the famous Nashville sights and sounds. Great place!

What a great find. We stayed in a four bedroom unit with full kitchen -perfect for a larger family or group. Friendly staff & high-end extras! 12 South is a beautiful area. It was great to walk to get coffee, dinner, or ice cream - not to mention the pretty murals and shopping.

The 12 South neighborhood is a vibrant, fun area that's within walking distance to Belmont University. The Gilmore is beautiful and fits right in. Everything is nice quality and the staff was wonderful.
