British Colonial is a top notch property with wonderful staff. The room was clean and beautiful as was the property overall. Both the bar/restaurant staff were great, and food excellent. I always judge based on how a hotel handles challenges which there was 1 on arrival. I cannot thank enough the graciousness and effort shown by the manager Mandell Miller and his team Doniqua and Thomas. They went so far beyond the call of duty I was blown away. Highly recommend this hotel, the views are great and the service warm and exceptional.

We had to change rooms multiple times due to various issues. - mini fridge making loud noise - smelly room - shower pressure not adequate At one point we gave up and accepted that it is what it is. You would call the front desk but the staff would never show up. The service was terrible. The property itself was well maintained and it is located very close to a lot of good locations.

Good place to stay in Nassau. Very walkable to attractions, the cruise port, beaches, shops, etc. Room was fine, staff were friendly. There were always plenty of seats at the pool and beach, and lots of towels available. Happy hour is great value at the Woods Rogers Tavern. They were a little loose with random authorizations on my credit card that they couldn't explain, but after I checked out, they never turned to charges so I didn't have to dispute anything.

Upon checking in the property looked to be nice and clean. It took awhile to check in as most of the time there was only one staff member working the desk. The staff weren't very friendly and it seemed as if you were bothering them any time you asked a question. The room was clean upon arrival. We needed additional towels since there weren't enough in the room and waited 4 hours with no towels brought to the room having to go to the desk and ask again. The next two days our room wasn't cleaned and no new lines brought even though I asked two times each day for someone to clean and bring towels. When they did clean our room nothing was actually cleaned with food still on counters along with sand on floor and counters, toilet and shower dirty. We checked out early due to this and ended up staying at another hotel for the remainder of our stay. The manager was very nice and not charging us an early check out fee due to this. Overall I wouldn't stay here again and would book Atlantis.

The hotel and property is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the pool area and beach. It was fun to watch the cruise ships go in and out. My favorite place to eat was the bar by the pool. The concierge arranged a wonderful boat ride to snorkel that was the highlight of our trip. Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing.

Only downfall is they had the gate locked to get to the beach area if walking from the boardwalk area, causing us to walk all the way around the building which was a 10 min walk.
