I wasn't happy with how loud the air conditioner was, nor the fact the sliding patio door always had trouble sliding. There was no microwave (would have been nice to heat up left overs). And some of the front desk (not all) were not so friendly.

We had a fantastic stay at Comfort Suites. Although the hotel is a bit dated, this didn’t bother us. Everyone from front desk to house keeping to the cleaners and chefs, were genuinely friendly and were lovely to speak with. The food was amazing, especially their lobster bisque with their Johnny Cake (coconut bread), and their alcoholic drinks were strong. The location is right next to Atlantis and was also across the street from a small grocery store, a medical center and a few restaurants if you didn’t want to eat at the hotel or at Atlantis. Our room was comfortable and spacious for 2 people. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure was good for the shower. The only downside we found was the smell of the water. It had a chemical smell, however this is seemed to be common with Atlantis as well when we went and would use their bathrooms and water filter system to refill our water bottles. Shout out to Terren (not sure about the spelling) at front desk. He and his team were phenomenal when it came to answering questions and helping us with ensuring our stay was comfortable. We highly recommend Comfort Suites, Paradise Island.

During my stay the counter in the bathroom fell off almost breaking my daughter’s toes. I brought this matter to management and I don’t feel enough was done, my room was moved to another in which the closet door fell off. When I mentioned that I was told that always happens, until someone is seriously hurt will such matters be addressed and taken seriously.

Loved how close it was to Atlantis and how the waterpark was free..did not like how we asked for a refill of shampoo and condition three times and didn’t receive any …. Also when we got there we had to call maintenance because the bathroom sink was clogged and we then had to go down and tell them again after we waited for two hours in the room for them …. The remote for the tv didn’t work so we had to stand at the tv everytime we wanted to change the channel …. And we left the room at 8 am on Saturday and the room was still not serviced by the time we came back at 4

I travel frequently, and while this hotel is conveniently located near Atlantis, that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The property is incredibly outdated — the rooms feel like they’re straight out of the 1950s, and the amenities are old and in serious need of renovation. Breakfast was chaotic, poorly organized, and honestly, pretty terrible. What really ruined the experience, though, was how the staff handled a sensitive situation. My 7-year-old son had a tummy issue and had an accident inside the men’s restroom in the lobby. As I was quickly ushering him back to our room to clean him up, an employee confronted my 77-year-old mother — demanding to know our room number so we could be charged a hazard fee. While the fee itself might have been understandable under different circumstances, what was absolutely not acceptable was the employee’s aggressive and disrespectful tone. To make matters worse, he told my elderly mother that she would need to clean the public restroom in order to avoid the $300 fee. I have never in all my years of travel heard of a hotel suggesting — let alone encouraging — a guest to clean a public bathroom. The next day, the manager did call to apologize, which I appreciated, but honestly, the damage was done. A little compassion and professionalism would’ve gone a long way. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others, especially families.
