This property was excellent. Enjoyed our trip.. But we went Dec 28th until Jan. 3rd. The temperature of the beach water was extremely cold. The resort heats their pools so you do have somewhere nice to swim, but do not expect to get in the beach at this time of the year.

The food was great although I was not inspired by the Japanese restaurant and would not recommend it. We ordered two beds, got one. On day the maid did not make up the bed, and on another day she did not leave any towels. The phone did not work on our first day and the SC was set to 63 degrees. It was freezing. My friend got kicked in the bathroom because the rusted lock jammed. The terrace door did not close and required gorilla strength to use the lock The sauna was out of commission. Each day there was something to deal with. I wish that I could get a refund! Staff was very nice and they made this stay bareable. .

I give this resort A 5 stars! Everything was perfect. The staff was more than friendly, accomadating, and professional! The entire place was clean and inviting! The food was amazing with a huge variety! Anyone leaving a negative review is just being a Karen! We will definitely be back!!

Every morning at 6am I was woken up by hotel employees working in the pool area. I told hotel management but nothing was done about it. They were done in about a 1/2 hour or so. I asked why they couldn’t do this later in the morning but no response. The view from my room was of the lobby roof. I’d rate all the restaurants a “D”, was supposed to get jumbo shrimp one night, was more like miniature shrimp. Would not go back or recommend this hotel.

The RIU proved to be an outstanding choice for our stay. This was a birthday trip, and we had an incredible time. From the moment we checked in until our departure, the staff and service exceeded our expectations. The scenery was stunning, and our room was consistently well-maintained with no complaints whatsoever. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, and the cleanliness throughout the property surpassed our expectations. Overall, the experience was exceptional, and we would gladly return. Thank you for making our trip so memorable.

The service is better than I could have imagined the staff was amazing! They really care they talk to you on a personable level very kind and most were very funny people I really enjoyed meeting every single one! The food is amazing the pool is great and the beach is fantastic! The rooms were as well great

The property is dated and in need of some updates. However, the Staff was awesome, and the food was as good or better than any other resort we have stayed at. You certainty can pay a lot more money for a nicer place, but you won't find a nicer staff, I guarantee that.

This place was great. We celebrated our 30th anniversary and could not ask for a better place to stay. Riu is truely all inclusive. There was no hidden charges. We would go again next week if we could.

The location is good. The food was good as well. The staff in the restaurants did an excellent job. Housekeeping was late on cleaning the room even after sending multiple messages snd calling the front desk. The front desk staff were standoffish and not helpful. The resort could use some painting as well and some refurbishing.
