This was our second time staying at a Riu Resort and it didn't disappoint. We had so much fun! The nicest people I have ever met! All the staff, cab drivers etc all wanted to make sure we were having a good time. So much fun stuff to do every day and can't wait to go back!

We stayed at the Riu in Aruba and it was very good! So we assumed this Riu at Paradise Island would meet our expectations however we were extremely disappointed. The food was not always fresh and choices were pretty much repetitive each day. The attitude of the majority of the staff, was not welcoming at all. Most times it seemed that it was a chore for them to do anything we asked for. This included housekeeping to front desk and everyone in between. We tipped everyone at the resort regardless. We are not impressed and will not be likely to return to any Riu in the future.

Nothing like an all inclusive in the tropics! Good quality alcohol and there was never part of the day you could go hungry! Jerk chicken station by the pool was amazing. Bar tenders and staff were great! Only downside is the wear and tear is starting to show in the rooms and some common areas. Overall. Great fun!

The food was excellent, a very large choice selection. The resort is one of RUI’s smaller resorts. The rooms are out dated! The beach and ocean are absolutely beautiful.

The hotel itself is generally clean and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and tidy, which contributed positively to the overall experience. However, given the premium price point—approximately $4,000 per week—I was surprised to encounter several maintenance issues, including rusted fixtures, broken towel racks, and significant condensation when the balcony door was opened, which caused the floor to become wet. Additionally, the bathroom lacked proper ventilation, resulting in lingering moisture after showers. Service quality also left room for improvement. On multiple occasions, particularly at the bar, I felt overlooked by staff. Despite being acknowledged, I observed that guests who arrived after me were served first, raising concerns about consistency and fairness in service delivery. Another area of concern was the hotel's enforcement of its dress code policy during meal times. While the food itself was excellent, the lack of dress code enforcement detracted from the dining atmosphere. Attire worn by some guests was extremely revealing and not in keeping with what one might expect at an upscale, family-friendly resort. Overall, while my stay had enjoyable elements, I believe there are several areas where the hotel could enhance the guest experience through improved maintenance, more attentive service, and consistent policy enforcement.

I don't typically complain about hotels or leave negative reviews, but my recent stay at the Hotel Riu Palace Paradise Island during my third visit to the Bahamas was deeply disappointing. Throughout our stay, our room had a persistent and unpleasant sewer odor. Compounding this, water continuously dripped from the bathroom vent, directly onto my head while I was using the toilet. I contacted the front desk for maintenance, but after an hour, no one arrived. It took a second call, 20 minutes later, for a technician to finally appear. He speculated the leak was from an upstairs unit and promised to investigate and follow up, but he never returned, and the vent continued to leak. Beyond these issues, we noticed that our sheets were never changed by the maid service; the bed was simply made without fresh linens. To make matters worse, we discovered a cockroach crawling in the bathroom the following day. Thankfully, we were checking out the next day, as I don't believe we could have tolerated another night in such conditions.

We had a great time at the Riu Palace Paradise Island resort. The staff was Pleasant and accommodating. We scheduled a lot of fun activities such as snorkeling, jet skiing and parasailing. The beach was amazing. We also enjoyed a lot of time at pool area. The food was great. The music that they we're playing needs to be more versatile it seems to be all OneNote all twerking music. I think we heard one country music song the whole time we were there and no rock and roll. Also, the $1,200 credit that they give you is useless. For example you have to spend $500 to get a $20 off coupon, you cannot use it in a lump sum. We were not the only ones that were misled by The Resort credit. Thank you to all of the staff you are wonderful.

Overall nice experience. Restaurants and service were above average. The room could have used a deep clean prior to our check in. Stained walls, floors and doors. Vacant resort property next door had all kinds of maintenance done and was causing a lot of noise issues.
