Spend the day relaxing on Sandyport Beach Resort's private white sand beach or at a marina before returning for a meal at one of the resort's 2 restaurants.

A great place to stay away from the madness of downtown Nassau when all the cruise ships are in. 7 restaurants/bars all within easy walking distance, lovely pool area, very helpful staff. We hired a car and it was in an ideal location to explore the island from.

The property was lovely...staff were friendly and helpful, especially Lady Sarah! Great easily walkable dining options. Spritz offered excellent food with water (and sea turtle ) views. Bon Vivant was exceptional for breakfast and cocktails. The Sailfish breakfast sandwich was amazing. Quiet beach, water everywhere, an excellent experience!

Sandyport was a nice little community- I felt safe and the staff was generally friendly. Our room however was not clean and we had an issue with bugs in our room. Sadly the resort did not help us out at all with out issues. We did not feel comfortable in our room. My parents stayed in a room next to our and they had issues with bugs as well. Some rooms were more updated but others were very disappointing. When given a chance to help us the resort did not help us - which was very disappointing.

The property was very clean and staff was decent. The beds were very hard and the beach bar, Da Conch Shack, does not observe the posted hours. Additionally, the bartender does not have a shot glass or any training. For $18, I expect a drink with alcohol. Beer was good!

The lagoon area is pristine and quiet. Easy walking distance to 4-5 restaurants. Can pick up a bus right across the street which will take you to downtown for $1.50.

Our family had a terrific stay at Sandyport. The staff was great and the rooms were always cleaned. We enjoyed both the private ocean beach as well as the peaceful lagoon beach right outside our door. Our three year old loved the pool. The restaurants a little pricey but the food was always good. The Conch Shack made great fritters and better drinks! This resort is a great choice for getting away from the super busy resort/cruise ship area too.
