The Reef at Atlantis offers 497 accommodations with DVD players and safes. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Smart televisions come with premium cable channels and pay movies. The resort was beautiful and there is so much to do for couples and families. If you are wanting to eat at the nicer restaurants, make sure to make reservations in advance. Some of the workers are not the friendliest so it is a breath of fresh air when you come across people that are

Be aware of what you are booking and where.
The room I booked showed a balcony overlooking the water from a high floor. The hotel does not have balconies over the 3rd floor. It was a large display of scamming someone. I did not have my room cleaned for two days. I spent $40,000 with Hotels.com on this trip. I will never use this company to book again and not stay at the Reef again.

Overall great facilities and lots of things for kids to engage in! Service could be a little better in terms of reliability and responsiveness. Lots of restaurants to choose from but must book 2 weeks in advance to get options.

Very nice property but you might want to go to local grocery to get water and all as everything is super expensive on the island. Cao ride and local grocery shopping is good as property offers full fledged kitchen

I think the room descriptions were a little confusing. It was made to seem like there was going to be a washer and dryer in our 2 bedroom suite. There was also a lack of drawers for putting clothes away. Seems like some of the furniture was converted from other things and didn’t quite make the space as functional as it could have been. The staff was either extremely friendly or fairly disgruntled. Overall happy with our stay and family had a great time.

My family of four stayed at The Reef in a studio ocean-view room and had a fantastic experience. The room was very clean, and the built-in kitchen was in excellent condition, equipped with everything we needed, including salt, pepper, and a small dishwasher. It was perfect for preparing simple meals, and we saved on breakfast and a few other meals. The nearby supermarket at Marina Village was convenient, and the free shuttle made it easy to get there. The weather was a bit windy, making walks between towers chilly. Although free shuttle buses are available, the drivers weren’t particularly friendly, likely due to having to repeat instructions frequently since not all buses stop at every location. We found walking more enjoyable overall. Dining options were great, with typical vacation island prices. We had an exceptional meal at Fish, an upscale restaurant. The water park was a highlight, with incredible aquariums and sea life throughout the property. However, it was disappointing that some water slides were closed for maintenance, especially since it wasn’t low season. This was inconvenient but didn’t overshadow our fun with the included water park features. The resort offers many activities, but most come with additional costs that can be steep, such as kids’ adventures and mini golf. Service was exceptional. The waitstaff were attentive and witty, and the front desk and concierge were always helpful and super attentive. We would definitely come back.
