Spend the day relaxing at The Royal at Atlantis's private white sand beach, practicing your swing on the golf course, or pampering yourself at the full-service spa. Then enjoy a meal at one of the resort's 20 restaurants.
The Royal at Atlantis offers 1201 air-conditioned accommodations with safes and coffee/tea makers. 32-inch flat-screen televisions come with premium cable channels and pay movies. Bathrooms include complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.

This Paradise Island resort provides wireless Internet access for a surcharge. Business-friendly amenities include desks along with free local calls (restrictions may apply). Additionally, rooms include irons/ironing boards and blackout drapes/curtains. A nightly turndown service is provided and housekeeping is offered daily.

Guests can play rounds at the 18-hole golf course and enjoy the facilities at the waterpark with a lazy river and waterslides. 14 outdoor swimming pools are on site along with a children's pool. Other recreational amenities include a private beach, outdoor tennis courts, a hot tub, and a sauna.

The spa is open daily. Children under 16 years old are not allowed in the spa without adult supervision.

Step outside to feel the sun on your face and the sand in your toes on the white sand beach. Summer fun is a breeze at The Royal at Atlantis, where you can play a round of golf at the golf course, cool off in one of the 14 outdoor swimming pools, and enjoy a treatment at the full-service spa.

Dining is available at one of the resort's 20 restaurants and guests can grab coffee at one of the 3 coffee shops/cafes. The property also has a snack bar/deli. Guests can unwind with a drink at one of the resort's bars, which include 6 beach bars, 4 poolside bars, and 19 bars/lounges. Public areas are equipped with wireless Internet access (surcharge). The property's amenities are amazing. I will say the staff was not firendly, our room smelled, the food was not good, the food was very overpriced, the level of service was very poor. I think for the cost of the vacation service should be top notch and people should be friendly. Spending money does not bother me as long as you get what you pay for. In this instance, I do not feel the value was very good at all. I have been to the Atlantis many, many times, and this was by far the worst experience.

The Royal Atlantis in the Bahamas is visually stunning, with impressive hotel and resort facilities that make for a great family vacation setting. But beyond the aesthetics, the experience quickly unravels—especially when it comes to food and pricing. The dining was by far the most disappointing aspect. They charge Michelin-star prices for what is essentially mediocre, fast food-quality meals. At the steakhouse, I paid $250 for two people—a price point on par with Bern’s in Tampa or Peter Luger’s in NYC—only to receive food that tasted no better than something from Outback Steakhouse. It wasn’t terrible, but it absolutely didn’t justify the outrageous cost. Even worse, gratuity is automatically included on every bill, but no one tells you this upfront. I only realized after scanning the fine print on the receipt. It feels intentionally misleading, especially in a resort environment that already bleeds your wallet dry at every turn. Case in point: $88 for Shake Shack for two people with dessert. That’s not a typo—nearly $90 for fast food. This isn’t luxury—it’s price gouging, plain and simple. Summary: • Hotel & resort: Beautiful, great for families. • Dining: Absurdly overpriced, food quality doesn’t match the cost. • Service transparency: Tips auto-included but never mentioned. • Value: Nonexistent. You’re paying for a name, not an experience. Unless you enjoy spending luxury prices for cafeteria food and deceptive billing, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Visited Atlantis on May 16th 2025 for a whole week.We stayed at the Royal Tower East and everything was perfect. Renovated room was beautiful. The property was excellent. We used the Royal Bath pool and was great. We made reservations before we got to the resort for every night for dinner and all restaurants were great. The restaurants were : Silan (2) Chop Stix, Bimini (Marina Village), Fish by Jose Andreas, Posidon buffet. We knew from the reviews that Atlantis is expensive but it is worth it. We would spend the day by the pool. Had lunch by taking our from Shake Shack and eat by the pool. We (3 adults-Me, my wife and our daughter 21) on Saturday night went on to see the Aura night club. It took a while for people to start dancing and it started only after oldies from Abba. Also we had a reservation to see Comedy show ($160) with headliner Tony Davidson ( terrible). So basically we did not have breakfast ( there is a Keurig coffee machine in the room so we brought our own coffee) Lunch by the pool and nice dinner at a great restaurant. For 3 of us for 7 night stay cost of about $2700. That is about $390 per day/night. All charged to the room. Only credit cards accepted. No cash. We were very happy with the whole vacation and Atlantis is a gem. We will visit again. Thank you Atlantis and the people that work there , they were polite and helpful.
