We had a great stay at the SLS Baha Mar. The property is set up so everything is pretty close together and accessible to any of the three hotels. We thought it would be more of a walk between them but the same central casino / restaurant area easily connects all three properties. All of the restaurants and bars were fantastic, you probably can’t go wrong with any you choose. A lot of the bars have live music later in the evening but the jazz club and manor bar (a singer named Angel had the place standing room only by the time she was done) were the best we went to. Not sure what I expected but there seemed like there were a lot more people than I thought would be there. Even with the number of pools and size of the beach area, if you weren’t down by 10:30/11:00 you would have a hard time finding a chair with an umbrella. However, I found it to be the opposite when it came to dinner. We had three dinner reservations but the other nights we walked right in and sat at the bar without a wait. We did a catamaran excursion through Discovery baha mar on the Silver Dancer and it was an awesome trip around the island. Overall the trip was fantastic and would recommend to anyone looking for an island getaway with plenty of activities

My family and I made so many wonderful memories in the Bahamas that we'll cherish forever. The beach was absolutely beautiful, filled with sea life, the grounds were well maintained, and the aquariums throughout the resort were incredible. That said, for the price, I expected much more from the overall experience. The staff was very inconsistent. While we encountered a few employees who were genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful, the majority made us feel as though we were inconveniencing them whenever we asked a question or needed assistance. The shuttle service between the towers was also frustrating. The shuttles were inconsistent, and instead of greeting guests, drivers often just shouted, asking where everyone was going. The food was expensive, difficult to obtain at times, and underwhelming. Several advertised amenities also weren't working, (i.e. outdoor showers for rinsing off after the beach and water bottle refill stations.) We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, and the layout was great for our family of four, but the room felt dated and showed signs of wear. The refrigerator had a tube sticking out into the walkway, the living room A/C wasn't working and developed an odor (maintenance fixed it quickly once reported), and the balcony was dirty with trash left behind. Overall, the property's natural beauty is undeniable, but for a resort at this price point, I expected better service, maintenance, and attention to detail.

Very well appointed condo. Views are incredible. Beach area is small but lovely. Infinity pool was great and perfectly heated. Wonderful pickleball and paddle court that’s surrounded by beautiful foliage and open 24hrs. Staff was helpful and accommodating of our needs for a late checkout.

A Stone’s Throw Away was the perfect spot for a beautiful and peaceful getaway. Hotel staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. The views were stunning from the hotel. The pool was warm and clean. It was nice to feel like we were in a private hotel. It was very quiet at night, and the rooms were always cool. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit the Bahamas. Not wheel chair accessible.
