This our favorite location and resort on 7 Mile Beach in Negril. Small resort with comfortable accommodations and friendly attentive staff that n the best section of beach. We will return next year!

I was there for two weeks so please read my other week review. If you cannot find it let's, just say my home away from home is Country Country and I have been to the 7 mile beach 50 yrs and counting. Best resort in my opinion. Safe-Best beach-good food--great staff and rooms-and they keep the place clean and comfortable. Did I say the best and safest beach and resort in Jamaica. I did not have kids with me but there were a few little ones playing in the ocean at this resort. Have a great trip and tell them I sent you. lol

They make you feel at home. Very nice staff and fun to be around. The food is great plus there are places around that have good food or they have a nice grocery store across the street. If you like Negril or have never been there, Country Country reminds you of the old Jamaica I remember with its natural beauty and decor. The rooms are nice and lots of shade from trees and umbrellas unlike some other resorts. The beach is so nice and one of the best swimming areas in Jamaica. I would also like to point out that some sites offer travel advisories to Jamaica. Country Country and Negril are one of the safest places in Jamaica on the 7 mile beach. This is my 50th yr reunion to the 7 mile beach and the resort security, local people and police keep this area and beach to walk, a prime safe tourist spot. So, if you have never been to Negril be sure to book Country Country for the true Jamaican experience my home away from home.

My first time staying here and it was recommended by a friend of mine, it definitely surpassed my expectations as the staffs were friendly, from the person to the front desk right down to the caretakers of the property gave a positive vybe, deserve a revisit! Only bad was the overpriced food but that aside, wonderful experience!

Great Hotel.
I just had a seven night stay at Country Country and cannot speak highly enough about it. Yes, it is not five star and is pretty basic but it makes up for that with the friendliness of the staff and the location which is right on the beautiful beach. My room (517) comfortable and clean. The breakfast is adequate and you can walk along the beach to other restaurants in the evening. I would recommend Lily’s Kitchen which serves good food and plays great reggae music. I will definitely be going back.

I've been intrigued with Country Country for years and we finally got to stay there. This is an old school cool resort with amazing staff from Javon and Wayne with the grounds crew to Camille in the restaurant, housekeepers who have worked there for 15-20 years because they love their job and their employer. Our stay included breakfast daily and let me tell you, this was well worth it! The omelets were excellent, but those darn banana pancakes....loved them! The beach was well-maintained and gauarded 24/7. Very safe. Can't say enough about the place. We have never stayed at the same place twice in Negril, but we WILL be back to Country Country!

Rooms were spacious. Plaza right across the street (supermarket, ATM, restaurant and other stores). Security was on point. Easy to get taxi. Breakfast was included. The Jamaica bkfst was always to salty. I did not try the pool. Beach was large area with lots of chairs. Bed linens were worn out and so were the towels. Some had holes in them.

Negril Stay
Had a ground floor cottage #508. Properly and beach beautiful and extremely well maintained. Workers up early raking seaweed from the ocean into piles. Felt very secure entrance gated with 24hr surveillance and beach access also monitored. Room itself a bit dated. Frosted windows unfortunately don't let in natural light and wooden slats on door do let biting bugs in. Feet and ankles had quite a few bites. Excellent included free breakfast daily options include french toast, banana oancakes, eggs, omletes or a lical breakfast. Nicest stretch of 7-mile beach i saw pkenty if shoreline and always beach chairs and shade available. Overall a reasonably priced stay that I would recommend. Perhaps an upper floor room might help with tge bug issues but they really should think of eliminating the slats on the door. Excellent A/C which is needed 24/7.
