I liked everything about the hotel only exception is having to do the stairs all the time no option of an elevator especially when you have your luggage. I know there are some men available who can assist you could at least have an elevator on each of the buildings. Another thing the availability of towels that we use when we go to the pool and ocean. Otherwise from these two everything was excellent. Food exceptional bed very comfortable.

Someone entered my room while I was away for breakfast, security was called but I was not given a report from the investigation. Therefore the building is not safe anyone can enter your room and the security team will not do anything about it. And when booking for a family room I paid for my 10yr son with Expedia up on arrival I was told my son was not paid for therefore I had to pay for him again at the resort.

Poor customer service, rooms were far from restaurant and no shuttle service offered. Plenty older folks with walkers. Worse Rui I've been too. Workers have no sense of urgency to assist with your room needs. Food was good! Unfriendly attitudes. Will not return ever

I like how there are many food options and cocktails as well. I like how there were different activities at night, white party was the best. I just don’t like that my room was in the 3rd floor as I have a 4 year old child with me. But otherwise, the whole experience was superb.

Upon entrance a server came with drinks for us while we checked in. The reception was very polite and professional I think her name is Shannoy. She explained everything we needed to know thoroughly. And throughout the stay the reception desk was exceptional. Except for that one time I needed to make some tea for my mom because she felt ill, and someone at the front desk stated that a $20 USD deposit is needed to get a kettle. I thought that was crazy, but after explaining the situation they gave me without charge. The distance to our room was lengthy and tiring for my mom over 60 and even for me. There is no elevators but they need to have some other means of way to take persons to and from the main area to the rooms. The biggest issue we had was with the taxi drivers at the front of the property. Extorting and terrorising people, one was very rude to us, after we stated we were waiting on a shuttle and wouldn’t need a taxi. Iv come to realise alot of guests(mostly females) complaining about these taxi men. And it made us all very disturbed and scared. The securities at the game seem to not mind them harassing guests. Immediate action needs to taken for that particular situation!!. Aside from those issues, great staffs, clean, relaxing and convenient location.

The resort looks nice. The beach looks nice. The staff is so so. They are rude. The beach initially looks beautiful. Calm waters because of the bay but it is seaweed everywhere and it’s not actual sand in the water. It’s some kind of black soft sludge that feels weird. The rooms are too far from everything else. The resort allows outsiders to sell items on the beach. Many people were selling illegal drugs. The area surrounding the resort is destitute and unsafe. The worst experience I had there was the cleaning lady ignored me when I didn’t want her to clean my room while I was in there. She came in anyway and started to clean even after me telling her to leave. Extremely rude. I hated it there so much I left early. There are many other places to visit. I would never go there again and would never recommend. The staff are not welcoming.

Our stay was ok at best. The food was an hit and miss, mostly misses. Also there’s something annoying about getting the fridge restocked and having service rendered when called upon. The room attendants are some of the hardest workers I have ever seen so let’s give credit where it’s due. The hotel can definitely use a broader range of entertainment and the drinks taste different I might add. Overall I think you guys can do much better with the right game plan. Overall my wife and two kids had “OK” fun and ok is just not good enough. Maybe in the future we’ll try a different location.

Rating: (2 out of 5) Stay at RIU Negril – Disappointed Overall My experience at RIU Negril was, unfortunately, underwhelming. Communication before arrival was very poor. I made specific requests for a special occasion, and despite multiple attempts to follow up, I never received a response. This lack of engagement set the tone for the stay. Upon arrival, the location of the rooms was far from ideal—quite a distance from the main dining areas, lobby, and entertainment, with no elevators and several stairs to navigate, making it inconvenient, especially for anyone with mobility issues. The food across the resort was mostly mediocre. Many of the items were lukewarm, with limited made-to-order options. The overall quality and flavor were disappointing, with the exception of the steakhouse, which was by far the best meal I had during my stay. The WiFi was weak and unreliable, which made it difficult to stay connected. The hotel’s app was not functioning properly during my visit, causing me to miss out on restaurant reservations for the specialty dining options. Additionally, there was no room service available for food, which was another letdown. On a positive note, the customer service staff was friendly and courteous throughout the stay. However, the resort lacked amenities and activities that are typically expected at an all-inclusive destination.
