Nice 5 night stay at the Saxton Lodge. Room was clean, aircondioning worked well, good parking. Nice towels. There is a nice restaurant onsite which is open certain days and hours. Unfortunately there is no microwave or crockery or cutlery in the room. There is glasses, kettle/jug, cofee cups and spoons. There is a communal kitchen which is open until 8pm where you can obtain crockery and cutlery and bring up to your room.

Clean comfortable room. Shared kitchen facilities but well appointed with plenty of crockery, cutlery, utensils and equipment. Rooms on the main road side can be noisy once the traffic starts building up in the morning

The staff at Saxton Lodge were amazing. I arrived late & after the dinner service had finished but the team still managed to arrange a beautiful meal to be bought to my room. That sort of service will see me coming back.

This hotel was great, the staff there were so nice and welcoming. Even though it is out of the city the rooms were clean, modern and very spacious. The only noise would be from the cars driving by. If you have a car this is a perfect spot, if you are traveling by bus you need to plan a little more but the bus stops are right across the street so still convenient

Very friendly staff and spacious studio unit. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Didn’t realise the unit had no cooking/kitchenette facilities but there was a communal kitchen we could use, along with a guest laundry. It was more akin to a large hotel room than a motel unit. The complex is on a busy corner so some traffic noise but overall a very pleasant stay.
