The carpet was so dirty my grandson feet were black. There was smeared brown on the safety bar by the toilet. I reported it the 1st night but, was not cleaned off when we checked out. We won’t be back.

I had a great stay at the Courtyard San Marcos! The room was super clean, spacious, and comfortable—definitely one of the better hotel stays I’ve had recently. The bathroom was especially nice with a big walk-in shower. The staff was friendly and really helpful. I had a special request to stay on the first floor, and they were more than happy to accommodate me. Big shoutout to Linda at the front desk—she went above and beyond to help us with a small issue and made the whole experience stress-free.

Everyone was really friendly except for one young lady with a ponytail. I believe she works in the front but I saw her coming out of a room. Didn’t greet or even smile back. She needs to learn to smile! Overall, our stay with was nice! Thanks

Best Option near San Marcos Mall

Good: Relatively new hotel with a modern look and updated accessories. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and of a good size. The bathroom was really good. Improvement: Parking was challenging to find on Memorial Day night
