Wonderful hotel right on the river

We so enjoyed our stay here. Room was very comfortable and pet friendly a plus! The pool area is so relaxing and clubhouse serves great drinks. The grounds are beautiful and right on the river. Firepits and grills available and a place to rent tubes to float right on the property. Will definitely be back!

We were very excited to stay here, as it looked amazing on Instagram and a recent article that came out. I booked a Superior room that looked at the river. The property is cute and very Instagram-able. However, the rooms/buildings need a lot more work. The main window in the room has a blackout curtain. However, the door has a very thin curtain that doesn’t keep the bright lights out. I had to hang my clothes up on the door to try and diffuse the light. The picture shows my three dresses I used. The walls are also very thin and we could hear the TV from the neighboring room through 1 A.M. The A/C is also extremely loud. Between the light and the sounds, you 100% need a sleep mask and earplugs to be able to sleep here. It was one of the worst nights of sleep I have ever had in a long time. The shower also apparently only has one setting, which, thankfully, was a decent warm temperature. But, the shower also needs a curtain or something. We could also not figure out the automatic light, which would go off/on for about 14-30 seconds, depending on how it felt, I guess. I will say the bed was comfy. It’s just a shame that the room itself was not conducive for sleep. Because of the issues, we could not stay another night, desperate for sleep. We asked to check out the next morning and the manager did call us later that afternoon saying they would refund the rest of our stay, which was appreciated. Just be aware that if you need a quiet and dark room to sleep, this will not be it.
Please change out the doors to the rooms or put a blackout curtain on the door too!

The property was conveniently located—5 minute drive to Gruene and right on the Guadalupe, with its own tubing service on site. The welcome drink was nice, and bar was fully stocked. The hotel lacked basic items—like overhead lighting, drawers, a mirror anywhere other than the bathroom, and working bathrooms in the common/reception area. It seemed they chose to focus on certain nice things on the 2024 remodel, but still overlooked some obvious and needed updates.

Very nice property amenities/activities, like volleyball court, pool, and access to the river. Nice remodel and style, but still sort of motel-ish. Didn't love the bedding and the room smelled like smoke. For the price, it was a good deal but I'm not sure we'll stay here again.

The Place is nice. Its a older property that has been remodeled and for the most part is nice. The Beds and Pillows would be great for a 20 something but not for a 50 something. The pool area was nice and the decks are great. I did notice that the trash cans around the property where not empty and s few overflowing. Appears that the grounds person doesn't really care about the area around the fire pits. Full cans, fire pits over flowing with ash and food can where someone tried to cook on them, Over all the place was clean and the AC worked good and the price was cheap.

We made a round trip adventure through the hill country over 5 days and stayed at multiple places along the way ! This place by far was amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this place starting with the staff which is exceptional! The room was very nice ! Very modern! Pool and access to the river was great, the grounds were very well maintained! Highly recommended
