Stay was okay

I dislike ice machines not being on every floor. The mini-fridge was not plugged in. Could not open the closet, sliding door was stuck on something. Went down to front desk @9pm and the front desk person was sitting in the lap of another employee, felt like i was interrupting! On the plus side, the room was clean, bed was comfortable!!

The staff was attentive and pleasant. The breakfast was great! On the negative side, our comforters needed an update. The filling on both was matted inside so parts had no filling at all!! The couch is getting worn now. The bathtub needed a grab bar; it was supposed to be a handicapped room!

Room and hotel are very nice. But the service sucked, our TV didn’t work…I went to the desk to ask about it. The gentleman said he’d send somebody to help and nobody ever came nor were we acknowledged again.

We were offered an accessibility friendly room - perhaps the only one left at the time of booking and not by choice. The room was spacious and the beds were low. There was a sink outside of the bath and in the main room - I understand that maybe for A11Y. There was no hand soap next to it. The waste basket had no plastic bag but had one laying by the side. Not sure if Hyatt wants its customer to do this job - think about being accessibility friendly room. The breakfast bar was very congested and not enough room to sit. Every time, you have to take a long walk across the hallway. The check-in also took more time than usual with a little too many questions. Overall we did not have a great experience.

Many things at this hotel were good... The room was great, plenty of space. What they got wrong kills the rating. At night, there are extremely bright spotlights pointing directly at the hotel. They have shades, but no side curtains, so light comes through on the sides. Way to bright to sleep well. It was actually darker in the room early morning because the spotlights turned off. The hotel said there was nothing they could do about it. On another note, it had a very big living room, but no TV ... So a big empty room with a couch. Great if you want to host a dance party I suppose.

Was a decent place overall, but our room had a lot of larger gnats flying around the bathroom sink area. The bed was comfy and the area is nice and location is near the pez factory which was fun. The breakfast was one of the worst in terms of options and service both ..not many options for vegetarians-bagels,bread, 3 cereal choices, and a bowl of cut fruit was brought out at 9:25 when breakfast ends in 5 mins lol.. nothing was refilled in a timely manner/or at all, even though it was only 7am. I had to ask for simple things like cups ran out, but it just felt uncomfy to ask about more than one thing that needed to be tended to. The tables were dirty and clearly weren’t being wiped down between people. Staff should be checking and making at least mediocre effort like other hotels. Ended up eating out which defeated the purpose of picking this place to begin with. Overall a really nice place and I love that check out is at 12 so you can sleep in if need be.
