Nice hotel - pricey- but very convenient!

Room for improvement

Usually I love staying at The Study, however this trip was an exception. I stayed in room 302 which faces the street. It was extremely loud on a Friday night, lots of motorcycles and music throughout the night. I know this is not their fault, but next time I will ask for another location. The issue was that after a night of little sleep, housekeeping knocked on my door at just after 8am on a Saturday morning. This was not acceptable. After I replied, they did not knock again but instead hollered to one another down the hall and let guestroom doors slam shut. And so, I was up for the day at 8:30. Very annoying. And when I checked out, I arrived at the front desk, there was no greeting, no "hello how was your stay", just the guy looking at me waiting for me to tell him I was checking out. Also not very pleasant. And this after paying about $400. I hope they speak with the staff and improve these issues.

I have stayed here about 8 years ago and it didn’t disapoint then and the same now. It was just as nice. I had a corner room which was great. The staff is was very polite and the restaurant on site is very good.
