The hotel staff was super friendly. The hotel itself is old and it shows. The hall carpets were filthy although the carpets in the room was fairly clean. Overall the hotel is fine for the price.

Great Room Centrally Located

First time staying off of Bourbon Street and this hotel is centrally located and was very nice and clean. Canal has a lot going on so like any busy city you need to be careful. The staff of the hotel was friendly but they appeared to always be very busy, we had a short wait to check in. Nice rooms and beds were comfy after a long day of sightseeing. I would recommend this hotel again. Another plus is that it is literally just around the corner from Bourbon Street. We loved the location!

The property is OK but very dated. The faucet is old and drips all night The shower valve doesn’t work properly I asked for late check out and they have no such thing Also at 10:59 AM they were knocking at my door while I was finishing up my last minute gathering to kick me out greedy. It’s not really a five star I would give it a three star hotel. Not worth the price

Don’t fall for the pictures.

Don’t fall for the pictures. Bathroom in desperate need for renovation. Rust and dirt on the vents in room and in hallway. As you walk down the hallway, you can see marks on all the doors and hallways. The lobby bar was never open. Had to go to the restaurant. One elevator wasn't working so long wait times. Would never stay again.

Was fine for a night or two but that's it

Where to start ... I'm not sure what was worse, the drunk man getting tased in the lobby while I was checking in, or the firmness of the beds. This place is obviously old and could benefit from some upgrades. I've stayed in New Orleans several times in the past and this was on the bottom end.
