Not what I expected.

I realize this hotel is in the older part of town however, that was not the problem. The room felt and looked dirty, especially the bathroom. We didn't shower because it looked like it had not been cleaned. They have a parking lot and when we went to take out the suitcases we saw a rat and several roaches. We were only there for one night but that was enough. On the bright side, the staff is super friendly and helpful, maybe that's why it's rated as high as it is.

It started rocky. Our king room was unavailable when we arrived. They asked that we keep our double room until the next morning. They upgraded us to a king suite. Very nice. The place is older but kept clean. The breakfast was great. It changed everyday. We’d definitely stay there again.

Convenient to the French Quarter and the trolley, not too far from everything else. In terrible need of an update- but it’s a Best Western, what did you expect? Great breakfast buffet and wonderful staff. Paid parking is limited and tight, good luck with any other parking.

Comfy beds, great showers with lots of water pressure and hot water. Clean, well decorated property. Across the street from Louis Armstrong Park with beautiful memorials and walking paths. 10 minutes from just about everything in the French Quarter. Streets and sidewalks near property were clean but don't wear heels, theyll get stuck in a crack. Our family had 2 rooms. With free breakfast and $25 parking on property, we will stay here again and again. There are bugs everywhere. Its swampland so they are to be expected. No mosquitoes or bed bugs so we were happy!

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, location was convenient. The breakfast was good with a variety of foods to choose from. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Tower were sticky, A/C kind of loud, one of the mattress is a bit sagging, had terrible sleep every night for 3 days of stay. The breakfast goes above and beyond though, with tons of variety, changes everyday and was cooked really well
