Disappointing
Hotel under construction and they didn’t inform guests. Lobby and breakfast area full of construction dust and terrible noise. Same noise woke us up at 7am when they started working. Very old building, noisy pipes, thin walls, can hear everything from the hallway and between rooms. Constant noise all night from the bathroom. Uncomfortable beds. Not enough tables for breakfast. Staff is helpful and nice. Manager was nice and gave us a credit for one night out of the three we stayed because of these problems. Good location, edge of the French quarter.

The hotel was under renovations during our stay, but this did not affect us much. The only real thing was sometimes the walls were wet from paint so we had to be careful, but they had signs posted letting the guests know. Also breakfast was in a different location due to the construction but it was still delicious and there was plenty of seating. Our room was comfortable and clean. Noise level even with the construction was fine. Great location!

The courtyard was very nice. It was also walking distance to French Quarter and Bourbon St. I cannot give it a better rating because there were two cockroaches in the room. When we complained they said it was normal in New Orleans. Maybe it is but I have stayed in New Orleans many times and never saw bugs in the room. They also could not give me the room that I paid for for a couple of days.

This hotel is an older building located on the edge of Treme and the French Quarter. It's close to things without being in the chaos of the French Quarter. It's easier to get in and out of than other hotels in the Quarter. The streetcar that runs by on Rampart is not working right now. The staff were all really nice and helpful. The team working the breakfast each morning did a great job of having different items each day and making sure everything stayed full. The hotel is going through renovations, which didn't inconvenience us too much. They did a good job of getting the breakfast area clean by the next morning. Our room had been updated already. It was on the small side, but was comfortable. The courtyard is nice minus the cigarette smoke from other guests. There is limited covered parking for an extra fee, which we didn't use. If you get a courtyard room, be prepared to have a lot of noise at all hours--people in the courtyard or pool, people using the stairs if your room is by the stairs, cars honking to get in/out in the parking area, guests coming back late from the French Quarter, and loud street cleaning or garbage pick-up very early each morning.

It's ok. I've stayed at worse. The pros: close to the French quarter and next to beautiful Louis Armstrong Park. The staff has been very friendly. The cons: this place is under renovation. The entire place is Dusty with plaster and construction debris. The breakfast is served in the bar area and everything's got the fine drywall dust on it. I've also killed two roaches in my room on this trip.

Property was fine, though it is old and the rooms need rennovations. I had an accessible room but it was very strange that you had to exit the washroom to wash your . hands. There should be a sink with the toilet. Also, the shower had no enclosure so the entire floor got soaked.

Very good property just out of the buustle.
Above average hotel. The breakfast was quite good for a free meal. The Breakfast staff was excellent. What really stood out was the Front Desk Staff, going the extra mile to be helpful.
