the hotel was nice and the staff was too , we were content with the room as well the only con i have is that the shower didn’t get hot and the water pressure was awful and there was leaks , but other than that i will definitely stay here again.

If you're looking for somewhere where you're not too far from everything that's within walking range without driving anywhere. This is definitely the spot for you. You're close to tours and restaurants pubs and what not highly recommend this place

Rooms were a bit outdated. The staff was friendly and maintenance came every day to clean and tidy up your room. Very walkable to the main strip where you will find galleries, dining, and entertainment.

starting off with the piss soaked sheets after we checked in at 11:30 pm. they switched us to another room immediately which was fine. Also took off the $50 fee for the inconvenience. Also nice. Staff was great, but the hotel it self is old, dirty, water only got warm from the shower, and extremely weak water pressure too, shampoos, soap, etc, very poor quality. Location is great, but would not stay again for the price, if it was cheaper, you can kind of deal with it being a lower end hotel, but ehhh it’s an old outdated best western that needs serious work.

The staff were nice, they let us check in early. The location is great, just a 7 minute walk to Canal street and pretty close to Magazine street as well. The reason I gave it 3 stars is it wasn’t the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in, the room was kinda outdated, and it was pretty noisy outside. Overall for the price compared to other hotels around I’d stay here again if need be.

If you use the parking garage at the poydras center, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT use the stairwell. Once the door closes behind you. You're locked in. I walked from the floor to the roof trying to get out, the emergency phones didn't work, and the hotel wouldn't pick up the phone. I finally went out through the emergency exit that has signs everywhere saying do not use. There are no signs or instructions in the garage to guide you and the front desk staff at the blake either don't know or don't care to know when asked about how to get into or out of the garage.
