Great Historic place to stay while enjoying the History and energy of downtown NOLA. Centrally located to great restraints and entertainment, great atmosphere at the Bourbon Bar which is on site. Our room was cozy and clean. What you would expect from a historical building.

The building is beautiful and historic which made it a treat to stay in. They were friendly and accommodating at check in. We got to stay in one of the loft suits that was lovely and had a view of the street. Only unfortunate thing about that is thr noise from Burbon if you go to bed before 3 am. However it was manageable with earplugs. The location is great for easy walking around and the pool was great! Shout out to doorman, Bo, who was friendly and had great suggestions around town.

The view out of the window was a massive ac unit. The paint was chipping on the ceiling and in the bathroom. Desk staff rude. Restaurant had horrible service and food was not good.

The location was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is a little outdated but who cares! It’s very charming! Absolutely loved the pool especially since it was in the 90’s during our stay. Room was great (rm 262) it was a corner room facing the pool so it was very quiet. Air conditioning worked pretty well and we had very hot water! If you can’t get a pool balcony room 262 is very nice! Staff was very friendly. I would 💯 stay here again!

Anyone staying here should be warned - there is barely hot water at this hotel. We stayed here for 4 days and every single day we had to turn the water on for 15-30 mins before it was even lukewarm. We complained and were told to "leave it running for 20 mins" and promised a technician would look into it but obvi this never happened. We had to plan our afternoons around getting up to the room with enough time to allow for the water to heat up. It took 30 mins once! And after 20 mins it got cold again so we had to hurry 4 people through. So incredibly wasteful! And unacceptable for a hotel of this price. Also our Keurig was broken and we never got a new one despite requesting it. A shame for a hotel that is very beautiful and with a great location.

Very nice hotel. Excellent, friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location to explore New Orleans. If you are sensitive to noise, request a room away from Bourbon Street because it can get a little noisy. But if you don't mind the noise, definitely get a room with a balcony. Rooms were large and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Nice pool area and bar was great with live band every night. Drinks at the bar were the best in the area.
